The experimental Italian composer, Valerio Tricoli, returns to PAN with a new album, Clonic Earth. His ongoing output for the label has long-presented his electroacoustic sound compositions which utilizes analog live sampling and real-time editing of field and studio recordings by manipulation of 1/4 inch tape. Asides from being a founding member of the Italian avant-rock group 3/4HadBeenEliminated, he has worked extensively with various musicians, choreographers and multimedia artists including Thomas Ankersmit, Antoine Chessex, Werner Dafeldecker, Anthony Pateras, and Robert Piotrowicz. His studio compositions often explore themes of the internal - psychological and physical - and of the occult, which, with the use of spoken text, makes them often deeply existential works, self-investigations of the irrational horror within. Clonic Earth is a perturbing, yet compelling mind-expanding work, marked by compositional strategies of exploded narratives, psychological insight and oracular literary references, where questions about the boundaries of spatial perception in the decoding processes of acousmatic music. Tricoli's allegorical and philosophical universe takes the form of an unhinged mind's landscape swarming with estranged sound objects in the complexity of details and surrealistic effects of Hieronymus Bosch's larger paintings. Compared to his previous works, the content of Clonic Earth explores more synthesized and heavily processed sounds, especially vocals, often appearing in the form of a religious, electrified chanting. The record is described by it's author as a natural consequence of the internal collapse depicted in his previous record, Miseri Lares (PAN 044LP): "As if all the debris left inside my loudspeakers have been ignited to expand into the ether, to find a justification at the principle of Chaos, or Cosmos alike." This movement is expressed by references to the theme of fire as original matter in the Chaldean Oracles which, together with the later work of Philip K. Dick, are the main sources for the vocal/text elements of the composition. Fire serves the author a metaphor for the acousmatic listening experience itself: a borderline perception of sounds eternally fixed in their spasmodic disappearance, which could eventually drag us into a different layer of reality, drastically changing, subverting, or expanding the space in which they are diffused. A ritual, somehow, which may link the listener and the perceptive space that he inhabits with whatever lies beyond the loudspeakers - beyond the vibrating surface of the world. Mastered and cut by Rashad Becker at D&M. Artwork by Bill Kouligas.

A definite keeper :)

I had a shark that gave out after 3 years. (It didn’t have a mop) I ordered a new one from a different company and the new one I bought was defective so when I saw this one half price renewed I figured it couldn’t hurt because this one was only 50 more than the other one. I’m so glad the other brand was defective. This thing is amazing . The app was easy to set up after I realized the quick start card they send has and old obsolete app. Once I searched and found the right app. It’s called eufy clean . All went as planned. There app has so many things to customize. I have a fluffy carpet in my bedroom and was able to set the suction Lower so it wouldn’t damage the carpet. You can customize what rooms it mops , vacuums or if u want both and how many time it will pass through each room 1 or 2 times . I didn’t want a vacuum with a bag but I’m ok with compromising that . The app also has a section to tell u when it’s time to change parts for maintenance. It mapped my small apt very quickly. Its base is larger but it tucks under the base . My shark had no mapping and just bumped randomly around. So always a tapping while it was cleaning. I find this to be much quieter the only time it’s loud is when it returns back to the base ti dump dirt and that is the sound of a regular vacuum running and it’s only for a minute or 2 at tops. I cant speak for battery life because it’s renewed but it cleaned my on bedroom apart in about 40 minutes with 60% battery left. It came in its original box like it was brand new. Only a few indentations on the top of the actual vacuum from what I saw. As for longevity we will see but as of now this renewed item is a definite keeper.

Rattles like a vibrator when it mops after about 2 weeks.
Size: C20 renewed
Works ok. Vacuum beater and opening is only about 6 inches long and the dirt box in the bot is really tiny. Beater is way to tiny to do any real vacuuming on even short shag rugs.
The mop works but basically just evenly spreads out whatever dirt is on the floor, evenly across your entire floor and sands the floor with it.
After about 2 weeks the bot starts rattling REALLY loud and vibrating like its falling apart. The crazy loud rattling noise is coming from the plastic mop pad axles when they spin.
The vacuum bag inside the base is very good quality, but small and not reusable. I cut the far end of the bag down the middle and glued on some velcro strips to each side to re-close it, which allows me to empty the bag and then close it back up again. Pretty sure this thing transmits everything it sees/does back to China.

Spent all this money for it to consistently have problems. It doesn’t even mop anymore because it keeps saying there is a problem with the sewage tank. I’ve only turned it on less than 5 times and it’s already having issues. Can’t even get it to mop anymore
