Matti Klenell’s playful silhouettes for Iittala are loved by many. Nappula (Finnish for ‘button’) was surprisingly inspired by the odd, large feet of an old table he saw at the Nuutajärvi Glass Museum. Klenell incorporated the classic yet modern shape into a wide array of candleholders that all carry the soft, round forms and combines his love of vintage and contemporary details.
