These super tough axles tighten up with a 6mm Allen key. They feature a get out of jail 6mm Allen key on the drive side of the axle if you manage to round the non drive side. So thrilled I took a chance on these. Finding boots is impossible for me. I have wide feet, a super high instep, a bunion on one foot, and I wear a hard to find size (10.5).
