Double vinyl LP pressing. 2013 release from the Alt-Folk duo consisting of Jeremy Barnes and Heather Trost. The 16 tracks feature seven originals along with nine Ukrainian, Hungarian and Romanian traditional songs re-imagined and arranged with inspiration taken from the legendary 1964 film Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors by Russian filmmaker Sergey Paradjanov. Produced by John Dieterich of Deerhoof, this is the first A Hawk and a Hacksaw album for some time to feature only it's two primary members (with the exception of two tracks where Dietrich lends guitar) but the instrumentation is not minimal. Dieterich's sense of musical experimentation has driven the group into new territories of folk Psychedelia that explodes with rich ornamentation. It's also the band's most dynamic album since they began their Eastern European adventure, with the thundering percussion and dramatic arcs of violin on the title track counterpointed by majestic solo pieces for Persian Santur, and piano, stately organ-led processionals and original sound and melodies from the film woven throughout.

Perfect Puppy Starter Toy Set

This toy pack is such a great value for puppies. My puppy stayed entertained for hours and loved having different textures to chew and play with. The toys feel soft but still durable enough for everyday use. A few of the smaller toys are better for light chewing, but overall it’s a fun variety pack for keeping a puppy happy and active.

Very small toys! But they are fun!

All the toys in this pack are very small. I almost sent it back because I was worried they’d be too small for our new puppy. I’m glad we didn’t though because she loves all the toys. Her favorite is the fox because it makes the crunchy plastic sound. She will outgrow the toys but for now this was perfect for her.

My puppy loves this set

It’s been 15 years since I had a puppy so after I adopted a 9 week old puppy, then I realized I had no toys for her! I wanted a variety at a reasonable price. And fast too! This arrived the next day and she immediately started playing with everything. I think her favorite is the fox but she loves them all. The first time she heard the avocado squeak was priceless. She also loves the rope toys but they shred so I limit her time alone with them.
These probably won’t last a long time but they were a good price for a lot of variety of items. She is happy so I’m happy. Thanks
