Double vinyl LP pressing. Drawing inspiration from Northern Europe's Iron Age, Heilung's themes, lyrics, and ambitious visual presentation evoke the Viking period in grandiose fashion. To pay tribute to their heritage, the Danish trio employ unique instrumentation in their music; ranging from running water via human bones, reconstructed swords and shields, ancient frame drums, bronze rings, and more. Their lyrics are taken from texts found in ancient rune stones, preserved spear shafts, amulets, poems, and other relics of a bygone era. Entertaining, informative, without being overwhelming.

Got it for, basically, half-off standard retail. At that price, it's a fine addition to the WWII library. Some interesting information displayed in a mostly entertaining way. I get that battle maps are always a challenge (maps are static - battles are dynamic). This does a fairly adequate job - better than most battle maps - though far from groundbreaking. item arrived well packed - no issues with binding (as some others seem to report). Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".
