Wormout Plus Tablets target Threadworm (Capillaria spp.), Tapeworm, and Roundworm (Ascaridia spp.) in falcons. Young raptors are particularly prone to roundworm infestations, making regular worming essential to prevent re-infection. Capillaria is also prevalent, especially in areas where birds can access earthworms. It's advisable to conduct routine fecal testing to keep track of parasite levels. Coccidiosis frequently leads to enteritis in falcons, especially affecting younger birds. The parasite is transmitted through feces, and infection occurs when contaminated food and water are ingested. Symptoms of coccidia can vary from stunted growth and mild diarrhea to sudden death. The prevalence of coccidiosis tends to increase in warm, moist conditions. Keeping enclosures dry and promptly removing droppings will help manage coccidia.
