Magnetic mesoporous silica nanoparticles are a multifunctional nanocomposite material that coats magnetic nanoparticles (usually superparamagnetic Fe3O4) in mesoporous silica (SiO2). This material combines the magnetic properties of magnetic nanoparticles with the high specific surface area, uniform pore structure and good chemical stability of mesoporous silica.

Note: The product can be attracted by the magnet, the adsorption time is about 20min, and the product solvent can be replaced with water or PBS. Replacement conditions were centrifuged at 10,000 r. p. m. for 20min.

 

Product Features

 

Preserved magnetic response: The presence of magnetic nanoparticles allows the material to be manipulated and separated by external magnetic fields, facilitating applications in biomedicine and environmental engineering.

Mesoporous silica matrix: Provides a stable platform and high specific surface area. The pore size is generally between 2-50 nanometers, which is conducive to the adsorption, diffusion and catalytic reaction of molecules.

High specific surface area: The mesoporous structure increases the specific surface area of the material, which helps to improve the catalytic efficiency and the adsorption capacity of substances.

Chemical stability and biocompatibility: The silica matrix has good chemical stability and biocompatibility, making it suitable for applications in the biomedical field.

Versatility: Different functional groups can be introduced through surface modification or post-treatment to achieve adsorption, catalysis or targeted release of specific molecules.


Application Fields

 

Drug delivery system: MMSNs can be used as efficient drug carriers for targeted drug delivery and controlled release, improving drug efficacy and reducing side effects. They can be loaded with multiple drugs, including hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs, to achieve synergistic treatment.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent: Due to the superparamagnetism of magnetic nanoparticles, MMSNs can be used as MRI contrast agents to enhance imaging signals and contribute to the early diagnosis of diseases.

Magnetic hyperthermia: In an alternating magnetic field, magnetic nanoparticles can generate heat and are used to treat cancer, that is, magnetic hyperthermia. MMSNs can combine magnetocaloric effects with drug delivery to improve therapeutic effects.

Catalytic applications: Due to the high specific surface area and pore structure of magnetic mesoporous silica nanoparticles, they can serve as catalysts or catalyst supports for various chemical reactions.
