Winner of the Belmont University Prize for Best Book on Country Western Music.Alan Munde and Joe Carr are the best known as superb bluegrass musicians. In this book they demonstrate that they are also good historians, and that they understand the full range of styles generally associated with country music. And better than anyone else so far, they have described and explained the vital contributions made by West Texas musicians to the music of America and the world. Ever since the Amarillo fiddler Eck Robertson inaugurated country music's commercial history with his first recordings in 1922, West Texas musicians have played major innovative roles in the shaping and popularization of the nation's popular music forms. The Beatles emerged from the gritty industrial world of Liverpool, but their musical roots run directly to Buddy Holly and the Texas plains. People who have wondered how such remarkable music talent could emerge from the vast seemingly empty landscape of West Texas need look no farther than this important and compelling book. Bill C. MaloneWest Texas music, like the West Texas wind, is hard to describe, but once it blows by, it's hard to forget. This book is a powerful historical documentation of that music and the musicians who brought it to life. I love it Sonny CurtisIt's a wonderful book, and the title says it all. When you grow up with country music, you never stray far from it because a Texan is a Texan is a Texan. Love these!
Size: 9, Color: Champagne-satin
I purchased these to attend a wedding as a guest. I wear a size 9 sneaker and ordered a size 9 in these. They fit well and are fairly comfortable during a quick try on and walk around. Theyre a little slick on the bottom but have a textured sole to help which i love. The color is so pretty and is true to what is pictured. I haven't worn these for an extended period of time, but feel as if they will be fairly comfortable for wedding wear. I love the chunk heel as it provides more support to walk around on. Overall great heel!

Beautiful Shoes, Bring Band-Aids
Size: 8, Color: Gold/Glitter
I bought these for a wedding and, let me tell you, they passed the ultimate test: an entire night of dancing like I was still in my twenties.
The shoes are cute, surprisingly sturdy, and looked great with my dress. They made it through hours of standing, walking, and questionable dance-floor decisions.
That said... my feet were not thrilled with me afterward. I ended up with blisters that seemed determined to become a permanent part of my personality for the next couple of weeks.
Would I wear these as an everyday shoe? Absolutely not.
Would I wear them to another wedding? Probably.
Were they worth the cost? Definitely.
Just do yourself a favor and pack some blister pads in your purse before you hit the dance floor.

Amazing Shoes
Size: 9, Color: Brown
This is my first time wearing a Bruno Marc MaxFlex Dress Sneakers Oxfords Casual Wingtip Brogue Shoes.
I was quite impressed how the shoes arrived and how they had a protection bag over each shoe. Very impressed by that, The shoes are very comfortable , lightweight squishy and affordable and very stylish. I recommend them.

Comfortable and complimentary
Size: 11, Color: Brown
The shoes are very comfortable and easily broke in after two wears. I get several compliments on them daily, and others have purchased them after seeing mine. I also have the black pair, but the brown ones are my favorite. Sizing is true to size, an excellent value for your money, and they are lightweight and breathable. The soles are thick, which makes them extremely comfortable.

Comfy and non slip! Amazing!
Size: 9.5, Color: All Black
I work 12hrs sometimes on my feet. These shoes are amazing !!! Broke them in on a 10hr shift and they feel like walking on pillows. My feet were comfy and not throbbing. I felt the difference in the non slip in the kitchen and I’ll say it outright……. Worth the $40! I got the brown coming and I’m assuming they’ll be just as comfortable. Bruno Marc’s are great!
