This affordable multi-pack includes ten high-quality LED downlights that are a breeze to install, provided you have the necessary materials, tools, and equipment in advance and reviewed the product manual and installation guide. It features screwless push-fit and loop-in/out wiring terminals, making installation a breeze and allowing you to link lights in series with ease. This feature, combined with its mains-powered design that eliminates the need for a separate driver or transformer, makes the downlight a convenient and user-friendly lighting solution.
Since this LED downlight is made with a GU10 lamp holder, you can pair it with any GU10 bulb. However, if you wish to utilise its dimming function, you'll need a dimmable GU10 bulb and an LED-compatible dimmer switch. Regarding the bulb, it comes in cool white, natural white, and warm white LED colours, which you can employ for either the task or ambient lighting. It is also IP65-rated, making it ideal for all rooms in your home, even the bathroom's zone 1. Just note that although water-resistant, it is not waterproof or designed for underwater applications.
This downlight is not just stylish but also safe. It is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes of protection for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. Fre-rated downlights like this have a built-in intumescent pad that expands when exposed to a specific temperature, blocking tiny gaps surrounding the fitting and preventing the fire from slipping through.
Furthermore, this lighting solution is insulation-coverable, so it can be safely covered with loose loft insulation over its rear. However, you can only do so if you pair the downlight with an LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w. This bundle is an excellent choice for small-scale renovations and makeovers, providing a reliable and efficient lighting solution.
