The original Flicker effect vanishes a coin, in this case a gimmicked quarter, and vanishes it without any sort of cover. It’s exactly the sort of sleight of hand that will elevate your performance, and it’s relatively easy to practice to perfection.
It’s important to note that this version of Flicker uses a gimmicked coin, and plays better to small crowds, and street performances. This is somewhat different than the Flicker kit that uses a gimmicked half dollar.
Multiple Quarter Effects In One Kit
This Flicker kit from Rocco isn’t just a one trick pony that you can plug into your routine and carry it with you. This kit includes an in depth DVD that carefully explains the original Flicker effect in painstaking detail. Though that is just the tip of the iceberg with this comprehensive coin magic kit.
Included in the DVD you will also get other versions of Flicker. This includes the “Slurp” effect where you seem to suck the quarter into a straw and then spit it back out again. The One Coin Fly trick sends coins across the room. The Through Table seemingly sends the quarter through the top of the table in reverse. There is also a Coin to Glass effect where the quarter appears to fades from your hand and arrives with a clink.
