Appropriately naming themselves after the French New Wave classic from Jean-Luc Godard, Breathless are effortlessly cool, fashionably dark, hopelessly melancholic and frustratingly off-center romantics. Often lumped together with bands like The Sound and Comsat Angels, Breathless have more in common with the mid to late '80s wandering output of The Cure, The Cocteau Twins and other artists stretching the post punk dream pop template, thanks to the strength of their arrangements and shifting time signatures, along with one of the greatest vocalists to ever step foot in the genre. Ari Neufeld knew a unique talent when she saw it and quickly drafted Dominic Appleton in to her current band due to his inventive keyboard skills. The two immediately found that they had a strong songwriting bond that far outstripped the rest of the group. Folding in guitarist Gary Mundy, with whom Appleton had been in previous projects, including their marvelous work backing Anne Clark on her debut album, the trio set out on a new path, with Appleton crucially taking command of the vocal duties.Linked to labels like 4AD, but with a strong sense of independence and a reluctance to tour endlessly, Breathless would self release their entire catalogue on their Tenor Vossa label. Certainly, the band had the charisma needed for stardom, along with the songwriting skills, but their output would remain on the margins, beloved by those in the know.

My go-to sublimation paper for crafting

I've used several sublimation papers, and this one has worked really well for my crafting projects. The colors transfer bright and vibrant, and the images come out crisp with good detail when using the proper sublimation printer and ink. The paper feeds smoothly through my printer and feels like a good quality weight—not too thin and not overly thick. I've used it for tumblers, keychains, and other sublimation projects, and I've been happy with the results. I also appreciate getting 110 sheets in one pack because it lasts a while, especially when working on multiple projects at once. Overall, this is a reliable sublimation paper that gives consistent results and is great for crafters or small business owners.

Fits in a standard tape dispenser

First of all, I like the width of this tape when I don't need the full width of standard 20mm. It's great for delicate projects and minimizing taping over two-sided sublimations like keychains. There's just enough adhesion and it comes off cleanly so it does the job. If you don't need the full width of 20mm, this is a great value.
For those looking for a compatible dispenser, these rolls fit into a standard weighted Scotch tape base like the C-38. There will be room around the core because these rolls have a larger diameter, and room on either side because the rolls are thinner than standard Scotch tape, but once you pull the tape onto the blade, the roll remains taut and it's easy to remove pieces of your desired length with one hand.
