I’m personally inviting you to join me on the trip of a lifetime to PERU my homeland!

For 9 days and 8 nights, we’re going to experience the kind of adventure most people only dream about: walking through the ancient Inca world, visiting the legendary Machu Picchu, and hiking one of the iconic Rainbow Mountains in one of the most sought-after destinations by travelers worldwide.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and some cocoa tea to help acclimate with the altitude before heading out on a full day to the popular ancient site of Chinchero, a traditional Cusco urban centre located at an elevated point with a beautiful view of the valley. The inhabitants of this area preserve the artisan traditions and the inherited knowledge of the Incas and display them in their clothes and customs. In Chinchero there are also archaeological remains and a beautiful seventeenth-century church, one of the first Catholic buildings in Peru.

Then, you are transferred to the Living Museum of Yucay, a centre of Andean traditions & interpretations, where demon strations of the elaboration of textile work, adobe, pottery and silverware are carried out in the same way in which they used to in antiquity; an original recreation of Inca traditions.

Also, at the museum are llamas, sheep and alpacas, which can be fed! Then, enjoy a delicious lunch in the town of Ollantaytambo. Go up the iconic steps of the enclosure, built next to the mountain. At the end of this activity, you are transferred to the train station to Aguas Calientes town at the base of Machu Picchu.

After breakfast take a short bus ride where you will arrive at Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of engineering and architecture that is believed to have served as a sanctuary and resting place for the Inca Pachacutec. Machu Picchu, which means 'Old Mountain', is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

At the end of the tour you will return by bus to Machu Picchu Pueblo, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Inkaterra Café. You will finish your visit by taking the Expedition 504 train to Ollantaytambo Station and finally, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco
