Mr. Swindoll takes you into every aspect of David' s human side (David's sin and faults). He expounds on David's lack of discipline toward his children, his inability to provide a functional home, his quick temper with Nabal the husband of Abigail, his issues with Bathsheba that we all know about along with his murderous plot of Uriah, his pride in numbering the people of God, and the rashness (quick judgment) of his counsel as when he was instructed by the Prophet Nathan to build God a house. This was not God's will for David but he was instructed as so. I don't want to dwell on the negatives, I just want to commend Dr. Swindoll for covering the whole aspect of the life of David and not just the good. Every human being, even Bible great ones as David, have two sides. We ought to learn from both. Take the good side of the great ones and model it. Then take the faulty human side in order to learn how not to make the same mistakes. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4. I commend Dr. Swindoll for doing a wonderful job of covering every side of the life of David. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to take the lives of the Bible Patriots as a modeling tool and as a studying tool. This book was recommended to me by a friend. and I do the same to any interested party[/long]

Great turned to not so great
My Doberman (80 pounds in 7 months) puppy absolutely loved this ball. He loves anything noise making so this ball was perfect. Unfortunately, about 2 hours of nonstop play the cover was falling apart. There was no saving in. My pup is rough on toys and this one couldn’t handle it. I let him play without the cover for a little bit but the plastic is VERY hard. I’m not sure what type of plastic it is, but it’s very hard, no your average plastic. It was clunking around and banging into everything possible.
I would love to give it more stars as it might have been perfect for other dogs, or maybe I just got a dud. But having to take the ball away from him was almost heart breaking. Those sad puppy dog ever and him looking everywhere for it. Barking nonstop because, well he want his ball….and being a puppy he is still learning. Had the cover held up for even 24 hours it would have been great. So I have a sad puppy and a lighter pocketbook. It was fun while it lasted.

Lasted less than a week.
Size: Small Size
This ball was delivered on March 7. It was fun while it lasted, but Today, less than one week later, the squeaker which was the unique fun part of this ball, is dead. The ball is still intact, the soft cover still on it, so our corgi never got to the squeaker - it just stopped making sound. Given the point of this ball is to engage a dog to chase after like it was squealing prey, the death of the squeaker is very disappointing.

Glow in the dark dog ball
If u shine a bright light on these balls they glow for 15 min. My dog has a double coat and I live in fl so I play outside at night and this glow ball fits the bill. Lots of fun. The ball is made well and so far has survived the jaws of my king shepherd. Im happy with my purchase and have also purchased them for family and friends

Glowing Orbs can be fun.
My dog loves these balls. He can’t break them, which is hilarious. The fact that they glow and double as a cognitive toy when you hide treats inside is a huge bonus.
My dog is literally darker than the night. We leave the ball near a lamp for 10–15 minutes, then take it outside and throw it. Watching a pitch-black blur sprint at full speed and suddenly seeing a glowing orb bouncing through the night is unreal.
Great toy. Highly recommend.

The ideal fetch ball
Our dog is obsessed with these. They bounce well, they’re squishy enough to meet his chewing needs but strong enough to not get destroyed. We do replace them every 8-10 months because after 2-3 20 min fetch sessions almost everyday they do rip. They have a nice weight to them so they’re easy to hurl 20-30 yards.
