We designed these socks to match our line of dark purple and gold striped ties. After careful consideration, we went with slightly smaller 0.5-inch stripes on the socks (versus the 0.75 stripes on our ties). Basically, the stripes looked too wide on our feet when we sampled them in the larger stripe.
These are some comfortable socks. They're made from a cotton blend that's not too thick and not too thin. Great with a pair of oxfords or more casual shoe.
