This harness differs from our K2-Base harness with the following features:

  • K24 Style (Grey Connector) Crankshaft (CKP) sensor
  • K24 style (small) Knock (KS) Sensor 

Version 2 of the Rywire K-series engine harness was created to facilitate a more universal chassis, and harness routing preference. This style can be routed more like the OEM k-series engine harness through the center or more to the right on the firewall than it's Version 1 counterpart. This routing method is ideal for our (RHD) Right Hand Drive customers however NOT exclusive to RHD chassis and does work fine on a LHD chassis. Version 2 is also routed in a way that allows you to get around aggressive headers.

These harnesses are warrantied and guaranteed to work, we provide excellent installation phone support and troubleshooting to ensure this reputation for quality, however they are non-refundable. Our Budget K-series Version 2 (K2) wire-tuck engine harness is nearly identical to its K2 Mil-spec counterpart with the primary differences being the type of wire used, the single black wire color and expandable loom used. All connectors and materials are new. Each connector is crimped with pneumatic heads to ensure an OEM crimp every time, then tagged with a white identification label for easy installation. All heavy interference circuits are protected and grounded with proper wire covering. Our engine harnesses are 100% quality tested pin to pin; And resistance checked to ensure no voltage fluctuations. These are the best harnesses money can buy. NO CORE is necessary when buying a harness from us! This harness follows an OEM style configuration meaning that you'll still need a interior computer plug adapter for your chassis - see the K-Series Computer Adapter link and add-option below!

Balolo Setup Cockpit Users: It's Worth a Look
If you own the Balolo Setup Cockpit and have the large tray, this will fit below the large tray with 4" to spare (left to right). It's too deep to fit in the tray; it will stick out the front by about 2 inches. On the desk (below the tray) it hangs about 1" past the tray, but you can't see it because it's in the back. The walnut is a good match. Quality is decent. The felt is cheap, but I guess I can upgrade it on my own, or ignore it. My Balolo is magnetic so it's probably steel. But this product isn't magnetic, so it's probably aluminum. Improvements: It's an obvious rip on the Balolo equipment and they should have done a better job on the sizing to make it more versatile. At 2.5" less deep, 1" less wide, and .25" less tall would allow it to fit in the tray and still allow one of their smaller drawers to fit next to it. Verdict: It looks pretty good and is 1/5 the price of the Balolo drawer and has free shipping. I'm happy with it.

Fantastic Stand

Cooling - I purchased this stand for use in college, primarily so I could raise my laptop to the same height as my primary monitor. While my focus in purchasing this was on raising my laptop, the stand also helps cool the laptop. I have been thoroughly surprised i its effectiveness. Many times my friends and I will be working on homework together running programs such as Microsoft Teams and Mathworks Matlab simultaneously. In doing so, I will have my laptop on the stand so I can use my monitor. While my friends identical college-issued laptops are very, very hot due to the intensive tasks they are completing, mine is, at the most, warm to the touch. The only difference is that I am using the stand, and they are not. The slots in the stand, while not overly large, do aid in cooling the laptop significantly. Build Quality - Prior to purchasing this stand, I saw several reviewers mentioning the finish on the stand, claiming it had an almost gritty quality. After receiving the product, I believe those customers were hoping for a very high level of final finishing. That is not to say that it is not a high quality finish, but if you are expecting it feel like the aluminum lid of a Macbook, it will have a slightly coarser finish than that. The stand has rubber pads on all points it would contact the laptop with. These pads are mounted very securely to the frame, and I am not concerned at all about them falling off. If I would have to guess, they are made of a type of silicone and have shown no signs of wear after 2 months of daily use. They are also present on the bottom of the stand to protect the surface it is set on. The stand itself is constructed of 4mm thick aluminum all around. As such, it is very sturdy. I would be absolutely shocked if a laptop broke one of these stands. I have even used it to hold textbooks temporarily, and it has held them with supreme ease. Color - I purchased the model in the darker gray color. I did not have anything I was trying to match it with. As such, I cannot say whether it will match Apple's Space Gray products, although it looks very reminiscent of it. For reference, my laptop is an HP Elite Dragonfly with a 13.3 inch screen, and my monitor is a 21.5 inch Acer unit.
