Paal Nilssen-Love presents News From The Junk Yard. Norwegian drummer and percussionist Paal Nilssen-Love is one of the most prolific and hard-working musicians in the field of free-jazz, improvised and experimental music of the last 20 years. With his numerous collaborations, projects and band constellations he spends most of the year on the road, and the few days at home running his PNL Records label and organizing two music festivals. His discography is immense and displays an artist intent on documenting his activities, allowing listeners to follow his development. Now a new current in this discography is starting to appear: the solo. Previous solo recordings have been caught-in-the-moment live performances, like Sticks and Stones (2001), 27 Years Later (PNL 005CD, 2005) and Miró (PNL 007CD, 2010). In 2014 there was a shift in this approach with Cut and Bleed - which not only was a studio recording made his apartment in Oslo, but also saw Nilssen-Love step out of his sonic fortress: the drum set. The set was replaced with a wide range of percussive instruments he had accumulated across the world throughout his travels, from Korean gongs to scrap metal sheets from Ethiopia - and everything in between. If Cut and Bleed was the raw beginning of his new approach to solo percussion, with News From The Junk Yard it comes into full effect. Recorded and produced by noise musician and frequent collaborator Lasse Marhaug at his studio in Oslo, News From The Junk Yard is an incredibly intense album, with Nilssen-Love pushing the physical limits of his playing to the absolute threshold. Despite there being no overdubs or in-track editing the album is so sonically dense it at times resembles the music of noise artists like Merzbow, The New Blockaders and Organum - but the recording also reveals his interest in world music like Indonesian gamelan and Ghana Gahu music. Produced by Lasse Marhaug and Paal Nilssen-Love. Recorded at i Oslo in 2015.

Amazing
Size: 4.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I absolutely love this toothpaste! It feels incredibly gentle and natural, yet it still leaves my mouth feeling super clean and refreshed. Unlike other toothpastes I’ve tried, this one doesn’t have that burning or strong minty sensation that irritates my gums it’s soothing and comfortable to use every day.
I’ve also noticed a real improvement with my tooth sensitivity since I started using it, which is amazing. It gives me that healthy, clean feeling without being harsh, and the texture and flavor are just right not too strong, not too sweet.
Overall, this toothpaste feels very natural and effective. It’s definitely become one of my daily essentials, and I’ll keep buying it for sure!

Great for sensitivity + clean ingredients
Size: 4.2 Ounce (Pack of 1), Size: 4.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using the MySmile Nano Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste for a while now, and it’s been a really positive switch—especially for sensitive teeth. It’s fluoride-free but still does a great job strengthening enamel and helping with sensitivity over time.
The texture is smooth, and the “Misty Mint” flavor is light and refreshing without being overpowering. I also like that it’s SLS-free and feels more natural compared to traditional toothpastes.
After consistent use, my teeth feel cleaner, less sensitive, and slightly brighter. It doesn’t foam as much as regular toothpaste, but that didn’t bother me once I got used to it.

MUST HAVE!
Size: 4.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I’ve never had a toothpaste like this. I noticed whitening in my teeth right away. The only thing I had to get used to is it kinda has like a gritty feeling at first, that isn’t in other toothpaste. The taste isn’t bad at all, there’s no burning in my mouth after using—- like I’ve had with other brands. I really like that it is Fluoride- free because this toothpaste gives you all the things you need without poisoning yourself. Also——- the sensitivity in my teeth is way down!!! Will continue to purchase this brand. I’ve tried Hello and I actually felt like it made my mouth worse, not MySmile toothpaste tho. Very happy!

Not too bad
Size: 4.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Doesn't leave my mouth feeling clean after I use. It has a weird aftertaste even if it is healthy. I prefer other brands.

Gentle on Sensitive Teeth
Size: 4.2 Ounce (Pack of 1), Size: 4.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I’ve been trying to become more intentional with the products I use daily, and this toothpaste honestly surprised me in the best way. The Misty Mint flavor feels super fresh without being overpowering, and my teeth feel really clean after each use. I also love that it’s fluoride-free and made with ingredients that feel gentler on sensitive teeth.
Another thing I didn’t expect to care about so much is the packaging — it looks beautiful on my bathroom counter and makes my routine feel a little more elevated
Definitely a great option if you enjoy clean, wellness-inspired products and want your everyday essentials to feel more aesthetic too.
