A companion piece to the U5S-ML, the UNIMATIC x Massena LAB U5S-ML24, is an insiders-only, limited edition of 99 pieces with a GMT function and is not available to the general public.
Like the U5S-ML, the U5S-ML24 features a 36mm case, which places the watch firmly in the midsize and unisex categories, whose discreet case size compliments a diverse range of wrists.
The U5S-ML24 is a discreet travel watch, whose size, subtle profile, and GMT function make it ideal for international journeys. Like its companion piece, the aesthetic of the U5S-ML24 is inspired by German mid-century industrial design, like the work of Dieter Rams, as well as vintage automobile dashboards dating to the 1960s and 70s.
Its clean lines and minimalist dial can be appreciated by anyone who values good design and practicality. The matte black dial features glossy white indices; a yellow GMT hand with matching yellow 24 hour markers, and can be dressed up or dressed down to taste.
The overall design aesthetic perfectly matches its 36mm brushed stainless steel case, which feels simultaneously classic yet modern. On its case back: a custom UNIMATIC x Massena LAB world time motif as well as a limited-edition number out of 99.
The Modello Cinque U5S-ML24 is powered by the Swiss-made, self-winding ETA caliber 2893-2, with 21 jewels, a frequency of 28,800bph (4Hz), 42 hours of power reserve, GMT function, and a hacking seconds hand.
Fitted with a black tapered TPU strap, the U5S-ML24 is delivered with two strap options, both with quick release: a tapered TPU strap in black, as well as a tapered TPU strap in straw yellow to match the dial's yellow details.
Each example is presented in a branded UNIMATIC x Massena LAB tough case with a warranty card and unique ID seal.
