Limited edition of 200. Don Slepian is a true pioneer of electronic music. He started composing in 1969 and released his first compilation cassette in September of 1978. He left Hawaii and came to Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, NJ, where he was "Artist in Residence" in computer music for the next two years. In 1980 he released three more cassette tapes on the Hawaiian record label Plumeria Productions: The Sea of Bliss, New Dawn, and Open Spaces. In 1981 he self-released his first LP, Computer Don't Breakdown. In 1982 he signed to Fortuna Records, who brought his music to a much wider audience with several releases throughout the '80s. The same year he released a collaborative tape with Lauri Paisley as Synarios called Uncontrolled Voltage in a classic electronica style. Slepian combines unique skills in music and electronics with a lifetime of improvised keyboard music performance. Born into a scientific family, Slepian showed both musical and technical talent early in life. In 1968, he programmed computers and built electronic music circuitry, sculpting sound with classic electronic music studio tape techniques. Starting in 1972, he was a tester on the early internet as a member of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). He was also a synthesizer soloist with the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, Music Director of Honolulu Theatre for Youth, and ARP Synthesizer Sales Rep for Hawaii. His CV could go on for another page. This LP contains all the tracks from his extremely rare debut tape Electronic Music from the Rainbow Isle (1978), plus two tracks from Uncontrolled Voltage (his 1982 release with Paisley) and one track from 1982's Rhythm of Life tape, a Fortuna Records release.

Very soft, full, and versatile! Potential game changer for my bed!

I am so happy with this pillow! I have a really hard time getting comfortable in bed-especially with pillows-and I’ve struggled with sleep since childhood. But this pillow is so comfortable-it’s such a great, happy surprise! The material allows my head and neck to sink in, but with support! I’m not using it against my body, but instead, have it lying on top of and across the length of all my other pillows and almost magically, I can turn over without having to do a whole bunch of squishing and adjusting the pillows! It’s like it somehow balances itself exactly right. Years ago, I had a body pillow and used it to lie against, the length of my body-but using it as a full-length “top pillow,” instead, was such a good idea, I can’t believe it was mine! Really, super happy with this!

Great for Side Sleepers

This body pillow is super comfy and supportive. I love that the shredded memory foam is adjustable, so I can make it just right for side sleeping. The cover is soft, breathable, and easy to wash. Adjustable Support for Side Sleeping

The pillow is long and full, filled with shredded memory foam, and the cover feels smooth with a sturdy zipper. When I adjusted the fill, the foam shifted easily and settled without clumping, which made it simple to fine-tune the firmness.
I ordered this pillow for extra joint support. In use, it stayed in place overnight and kept my hips and shoulders better aligned, especially when sleeping on my side. Memory foam naturally contours to pressure, which helps with joint support, but it can also hold a bit of warmth after several hours. The washable cover came off cleanly and went back on without stretching. It performed consistently and felt comfortable for daily sleep, and the adjustable fill and stable support explain the positive overall evaluation. Worth every penny

This thing is awesome. The pillow case is super soft too. You do need to let it unfold and air it out a bit, it’s present but not overwhelming but I think that applies to similar products. I use it when I lounge in bed. I have a king-size bed. I put it under my knees when I lay down and lay back, propped up a bit to watch movies. It’s perfect.

Better than snuggling a spouse.

This pillow is, can I say, 'dreamy?' It is so cushy and the cover is like buttery soft velvet. I was afraid it would be lumpy with the shredded foam filling, but it's not at all. It holds its shape and ensures a good nights' sleep. One thing, the box it came in said "Feather and Down," which almost made me send it back unopened, thinking they sent the wrong item. The pillow comes shrink-wrapped into an unbelievably small size, so there's little chance of getting it back in the box once opened. It does puff up to full size in just a matter of a couple minutes. Great purchase.
