That means about 3.5 billion human males as yet have been unable to find an exact and comprehensive mirror for their spiritual needs, using the ancient wisdom that is locked up inside the Tarot. This extraordinary book has been over 40 years in gestation. Written by an academic specialist in religious studies, philosophy and peace studies, and a spiritual initiate in numerous esoteric traditions of world religions, the text is the most comprehensive study of the Tarot ever produced and includes both new academic research and profound spiritual teachings. It is intended to cast some badly needed light from the collective wisdom storehouse of humanity's interactions with the Divine that can help chart a path out of our current planetary epidemic of crises. It includes an advanced study of the philosophical conundrums involved in thinking through a ÒTarot of the GodsÓ, as well as guidance on how to use the cards plus a full and comprehensive bibliography for further studies. The text is by Dr Thomas Daffern, a British-Canadian philosopher resident in France. The artwork is fresh, vibrant and mostly done by amazing Syrian artist Sarah Naddaf of Germany and Homs, Syria, with help from Swiss artist & sociologist Dominic Amstutz and Lithuanian artist Justina Levonaite. Oh, we've all heard of manifestation. Frankly, as an older guy and a retired Marine, I kinda cringe when I hear the word. "Something sissies would say," I'd think. Wink. But seriously, I do believe in Universal Laws that Apply Universally, and manifestation, as portrayed in this book, is pretty much about that. The author does reference principles found in Christianity and Hinduism, for instance. But also physics and psychology. Practices such as visualization, gratitude and love (law of vibration, love that). So good. I'm going to get this book for my kids, since I can't get them to read the Bible, perhaps they'll read this! Seriously, it's a great complement to God's principles and not nearly so hard to mine. ; )
