Souffle Continu Records present the first ever reissue of Workshop de Lyon's Tiens! Les Bourgeons Eclatent..., originally released in 1978. The collective methodology of the Workshop de Lyon led to the creation of the Association Searching for an Imaginary Folklore (ARFI) in 1977, their aims were very much a mission statement "encourage improvisation, spread diverse musical styles and provide means of expression to others with similar ideas, establish a folklore..." Their reference was the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (A.A.C.M.) created twelve years previously with the similar idea of providing material assistance to and defending the interests of creative musicians, in order to encourage the emergence of new music. The open-structured ARFI self-produced their music thanks to their own label, on which almost all of the albums of the Workshop de Lyon appeared, from Concert Lave (1980) onwards. Their third album, Tiens! Les Bougeons Éclatent... is a perfect example of how the group sounded when it was released in 1978, about a year after the studio recording. Pianist Patrick Vollat had left but was still very much a part of ARFI (in particular as part of the excellent La Marmite Infernale), so the Workshop de Lyon stabilized to a quartet of Louis Sclavis, Maurice Merle, Jean Bolcato, and Christian Rollet, and already had at the time an unparalleled repertoire. This never ceased to expand, through the meetings and personnel changes, while losing nothing of it's generosity, nor showing any signs of aging. This proffers on the Workshop de Lyon a certain universal dignity which honors their original models, Albert Ayler or the Art Ensemble Of Chicago to name but two, transfiguring them into a new, exciting aesthetic approach bursting with openings and exchanges. You need magnesium
It helps with so many things, and most of us don’t get enough.
Do your research, and make your choice. This is a good starter option, but that is just my opinion.

Quality product
I’ve been taking the Ocean Magnesium 200mg Aquamin with B6 for a little over a month now, and I’ve really enjoyed adding it into my routine. I’ve tried several types of magnesium supplements in the past, but this one stood out to me for a couple of reasons: it’s made with Aquamin (derived from sea minerals), it’s vegan, and it comes in an easy-to-take capsule form.
The first thing I noticed was the packaging. The bottle is sturdy, seals well, and the label is clear and easy to read. I like that it’s straightforward about the ingredients—no unnecessary additives or confusing blends. The capsules themselves are an average size, not too big or hard to swallow, which I appreciate since I take them at night before bed.
As far as digestibility, this has been one of the gentlest magnesium options I’ve tried. Some brands I’ve used in the past left me with an upset stomach, but I haven’t had that issue here. I also appreciate that the capsules don’t have a strong aftertaste or odd smell, which has sometimes been the case with other supplements.
I also really like that this formula includes vitamin B6. Even though I can’t measure exactly what difference that makes, I like knowing that it’s formulated with complementary nutrients in mind. It feels more thoughtfully designed than a basic one-ingredient pill.
Another nice thing is that the bottle provides a full 60-count supply, which lasts me two months since the serving size is just one capsule per day. That makes it more cost-effective than other brands where you need to take multiple pills.
I can’t make specific claims about the effects, but I will say that I enjoy having this as part of my daily wellness routine. It’s simple, clean, and feels like a product I can stick with long-term. I also like knowing it comes from a whole food, plant-based source, which aligns with how I try to approach my overall diet.
Overall, I’d recommend Ocean Magnesium to anyone looking for a well-made, vegan-friendly magnesium option. The capsules are easy to take, gentle, and thoughtfully formulated. It’s one of the few supplements I’ve tried that I look forward to continuing with regularly.
