Six Questions Your Pizza Guys Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this pizza franchise business plan using deep-dive research into high-performance delivery models. Key assumptions like the $650,000 initial delivery revenue and 9% total franchise fees are pre-populated but fully editable to match your local market. It is a pragmatic tool designed to show you exactly how store-level EBITDA can hit $804,000 in year one.

When will the unit reach full profitability?

This unit hits the ground running with a break-even point in the very first month, Jan-2026, thanks to strong initial demand. By year one, you are looking at an EBITDA of $804,000 after accounting for food costs, 5% royalties, and a $60,000 manager salary. Speed to profit is the primary goal here.

Profit Growth Levers

  • Optimize delivery routes to cut fuel
  • Upsell sides to increase ticket
  • Manage dough waste daily
[dynamic_pic9]

How much cash is needed to open?

You will need approximately $320,000 to cover the initial build-out and equipment, plus a significant cash buffer for the first quarter. The model shows a minimum cash requirement of $1.112M in March 2026 to handle the timing of payables and initial scaling. Capital is the fuel that prevents a mid-launch stall.

Primary Capital Uses

  • Leasehold Improvements: $150,000
  • Kitchen Equipment: $90,000
  • Initial Franchise Fee: $25,000
[dynamic_pic10]

What is the expected investor return?

Investors can expect a solid Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 24.32% over the five-year hold period. While the full payback of the initial investment occurs after year five, the consistent cash flow and 5.11 ROE make this a stable multi-unit play. Equity builds steadily as you scale.

Key Investment Metrics

  • IRR: 24.32%
  • Year 5 EBITDA: $1,296,000
  • Steady 5% Royalty Load
[dynamic_pic11]

What is the monthly break-even target?

The unit breaks even almost immediately in Jan-2026, provided you hit the $1.54M annual revenue run rate. The biggest driver for this quick start is the high-margin delivery mix, which offsets the $5,500 monthly rent and fixed utilities. Watch your labor costs closely to keep this timeline intact.

Speed to Break-Even

  • Launch catering in month 3
  • Monitor driver overtime weekly
  • Maintain 10% food cost
[dynamic_pic12]

Where is the lowest cash point?

Your lowest cash point occurs in March 2026, where the model estimates you will need $1.112M on hand to navigate pre-opening costs and initial inventory loads. We recommend keeping a 90-day operating buffer to handle any delays in the $150,000 leasehold improvement phase. Cash is king, but timing is the kingdom.

Cash Preservation Steps

  • Phase furniture purchases
  • Negotiate rent abatement
  • Use tiered driver hiring
[dynamic_pic13]

How do different scenarios impact results?

Moving from a medium to a high-revenue scenario significantly boosts your year-1 EBITDA past the $804,000 baseline. Conversely, a low-growth scenario where delivery volume lags by 15% would push your payback period much further out and tighten the $1.1M cash floor. Scenarios turn what-ifs into actionable contingency plans.

Driving High-Case Outcomes

  • Aggressive local school marketing
  • VIP loyalty program signups
  • High-density route planning

I love the shape, weight and color
Color: Green Glow in the Dark, Color: Green Glow in the Dark
I think this is a much better ergonomic shape. Most covers keep the same basic shape of the remote. My remote had the four stacked buttons instead of 2x2. I ripped them all off because I kept accidentally switching over to Netflix or espn in the middle of watching something, and that's the only reason this fits. It's made only for 4x4. At least 1 of the buttons would be covered. The volume buttons are almost flush, so it's kinda hard to tell they're there, but they function very well. I chose the color for the contrast on my dark grey sheets and it works really well. And it really glows ok tje dark. It didn't look like it didn't the day I bought it l, but it had to charge it the light or it wasn't dark enough. It looks weird where ther holes are because of the remotes roundish shape. But the more I use it the more I really like the shape coupled with the weight if it. I personally like the squared off shape and the honeycomb so much. And if I upgrade to a bigger roku tv in a couple months I can keep using this cover.

Must have for Apple Remote!!
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
I regret not buying this sooner! As most of you know, the Apple TV remote is a slippery little thing, and this case is perfect! Color is bright so you can find your remote, it has a nerve grip so it’s no longer slippery, and the silicon protects it from drops. It doesn’t hinder the buttons and goes on and off super easily. Great investment for the remote.

How did I watch TV without one?
Color: blue-glow
We stayed at an AirBnB recently and the TV was set up to use the tiny, thin AppleTV remote. We have the same remote and I constantly lose it or drop it or brush the touchpad when I don’t mean to. When I saw that they had wrapped their remote in this thin silicone “case”, I went on Amazon and bought one immediately. It arrived right after we got home and took all of 10 seconds to put on the remote. It fits snuggly, but not so much that you have to worry about damaging the remote putting the case on or taking it off. It doesn’t cover any of the buttons or the plug and gives the remote a bit more heft. The ribbing and “stickiness” of the silicone makes it easier to pick up with my big fingers. Now the remote is easier to use (partly because it’s easier to pick up and to hold). It’s also harder to lose, because it makes the remote feel a bit larger, and (ours at least) is in a cool, translucent, day-glo green, that glows in the dark (sort of). Win-win-win...
