Three years later in 2015, they released their debut record, Heck No, Nancy which chronicled a series of revelations centered around a musical mentality that volleys between the expressive texture of emo bands like Braid and the bouncy indie of bands like The Pixies and Violent Femmes. Their self-titled Lame-O Records follow-up explores their indie rock inspirations even further. The band has found an acclivity for pop hooks and vibrant instrumentation here that gives a nod to their heroes (even naming a song referencing listening to a Pixies record), while also fitting alongside the top artists of the modern indie/emo scene.

Easy to use Quality kit
I’ve had this 18-ounce matcha whisk set for a while now and use it regularly. The set comes with a ceramic bowl, a whisk holder, a whisk, a teaspoon scooper, and a matcha sifter, in a soft pink color that’s quite subtle and pretty. Everything feels sturdy and is easy to clean, which definitely makes the whole matcha preparation process straightforward.
The only hiccup was that the sifter arrived a bit bent and indented, but since I had extras at home, it wasn’t a big deal for me. Overall, it’s a solid and pleasant set for making matcha and arrived well packaged.
Very happy! 4 star just cause of the sifter.
