Estonian record label Seksound releases the first-time vinyl edition of "After Summer" by Pia Fraus - the band's fourth album that was first released 8 years ago and has, so far, remained their last to-date. The 2008 album was produced by Scottish indie legend Norman Blake, the leader of Teenage Fanclub, and Pia Fraus' long time musical inspiration. "After summer" includes ten tracks that formed through the organic digital co-operation of the producer and band members, by the constant moving of sound files back and forth on Glasgow-Tallinn route. It was the first time that an outsider could make decisions on the sound of the album, and this surely hears in the overall soft tone. "Pia Fraus glows beauty. And they glow clearer and clearer," said Siim Nestor in his review for Eesti Ekspress. Even though there are a couple of darker sounding tracks on the LP, they do not alter the album's overall positive air. Norman Blake's jangle-pop sense of melody keeps the details and the whole in a refreshing balance. The album gains even more from Galaktlan's and Pastacas' dreamy sounds of synth and flute. With the help of Clairecords and Vinyl Junkie Records, "After Summer" made it's way to US and Japanese shoegaze fans, as before, but also to the Philippines with Universal Records. This unseen scope of Pia Fraus achieved loads of positive feedback. Compared to earlier reviews, Stereolab was often mentioned when drawing parallels, and notso much My Bloody Valentine. The ideas of "After Summer" have made their way also to the split 7-inch featuring Pia Fraus and Ulrich Schnauss "Mute The Birds / Ships Will Sail" and the remix compilation "Ten Remixes of Yenissey". A video was made for the album's opening track "Springsister"
Tracks:
1.1 Springsister
1.2 Yenissey
1.3 Sailing Yes
1.4 Doctor Optimism
1.5 House Eaten
1.6 After Summer
1.7 Late Again
1.8 Mute the Birds
1.9 Loveloops
1.10 Far Fade Whisper

Amazing read!!
Format: Kindle
Where to begin. I loved this book. The characters had a way of pulling you in and making you holding your breath at the same time. I absolutely loved the fmc. Eva has a way of being vulnerable but strong. She is unwilling to give up. The mmc’s are truly horrible at the beginning. With that being said, I still found myself rooting for them. Over time you could them changing and how even when they wanted to hate her they just couldn’t find it in them. A truly remarkable love came from a terrible beginning. Loved it!

Not bad but read better omegaverse
Format: Kindle
Mmm. I have feelings. Some not good. Some good. It was an ok read. I've been on a omegaverse kick for awhile now. Love me some groveling alphas but this wasn't it. Actually there wasn't enough groveling and the fmc gave in WAY too quickly.
They all have f'ed childhood. The alphas, Dorian, Rafe and Cade met at an orphanage that did unspeakable things to them until Dorian and Rafe aged out at 18 and had ti wait a few years until they could "adopt" Cade, who was 3 years younger than them. They all become successful entrepreneur of sort, I think. They created an app called HeatLink.
The fmc, Eva, was sold to the pack by her horrible, abusing father. She endured just as much hardship. She is relentless with escaping the pack but she always gave in when they got too near. Like she couldn't keep her legs closed. She hates them but gave in everytime. I found her kind of weak in that sense.
The overall plot was fine. Didn't leave me yearning to read the next page. I did clock one of the identity of someone quickly though. Don't want to spoil it. Again, I've read better omegaverse books. The one good thing about the book is one of the lines from Cade on page 218: ""Please Eva. I'm sorry." She staggered back and I followed her on my knees, dragging myself. I didn't care. I just wanted her to hold me."" I'll admit, I melted a little bit for Cade, even though he was probably the worse a-hole out of the bunch.

Good Groveling!
Format: Kindle
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5|🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.5
This was really good! Definitely a dark romance! The plot was really good and was done well. I enjoyed the character development but I did wish the FMC told her pack she loved them at the end.
Overall I would recommend this to readers who like bully romances and groveling! 💖

it went on too long…
Format: Kindle
At first it was a good read and I was really into it then it got to be a little to much with every page being more about how “slick” she was or about constant sex… I like spice don’t get me wrong but this was just a little too much after a while and the plot was lost. I also felt like the ending was weird and awkward it was just a good build up to fall flat

Great read
Format: Kindle
Hahahha omg I love Laurie. Momma don't care if you're an Uber alpha, she'll still middle name you & give you a dressing down hahaha. But really, this was a great read, great pacing for a fast paced book (timeline-wise) & great characters that actually felt individual. Plus I always love psycho puppy alphas haha.
