The mash bill for this bourbon is 64 percent corn, 24 percent wheat, and 12 percent malted barley, making it one of the highest ratios of wheat used in a Kentucky-made bourbon. After distillation, the distillate is barreled in a #4 char barrel at 110 proof, having come off the still around 137 proof. The bourbon is aged in Rickhouse A, a two-story building with moving floors each year of maturation.
On the nose, this bourbon offers a pleasant mix of sweet grain and savory notes, with hints of buttery salted caramel and cinnamon rolls.
