Foliage: Features dense, birch-like dark green leaves that provide a lush backdrop during the growing season. In the fall, the foliage transforms into striking shades of orange, red, and purple. Flowers: In late spring to early summer, the shrub is covered in flat clusters of tiny, creamy-white flowers that are attractive to butterflies. Size: A compact, rounded shrub, typically growing to about 2–3 feet (60-90 cm) tall and wide at maturity. Hardiness: Exceptionally cold-hardy, suitable for USDA Zones 3–9. Light: Performs best in full sun (at least six hours daily) to ensure the best flower display and vibrant fall color, though it can tolerate partial shade.
