Ranked in the Top 100 Chocolates in the World.

Origin & Craftsmanship
This single-origin bar is crafted by Boho Chocolate in the United States using high-quality cacao beans from Kablon Farms, located in South Cotabato, Davao, Philippines. As an ethically sourced, organic product, Boho emphasizes bean-to-bar integrity and celebrates the unique flavor of Philippine cacao.

Flavor Profile
The 70% dark chocolate delivers a robust and purist cocoa experience, emphasizing depth over sweetness. Known for its smooth melt and rich chocolate character, this bar lets the cacao’s natural essence shine.  Complementary insights from Kablon’s broader flavor spectrum—captured in other expressions of their beans—hint at honeyed tones, biscuit-like cream, and gentle fruit nuances.

Accolades & Awards
Boho’s 70% single-origin bar earned a Silver award in the “Plain/origin dark chocolate bars, micro‑batch” category at the USA & Canada Bean-to-Bar Competition, scoring an impressive 90.3—a testament to its quality and compelling flavor.

Tasting & Pairing Guide

Unwrap the bar and let it rest on your tongue to appreciate its smooth texture and deep cocoa intensity. Savor the rich, dark notes before exploring pairing options. This chocolate pairs beautifully with a bold, smoky single-malt whiskey or an aged rum to enhance its earthy depth. For a non-alcoholic option, try it with a rich black coffee or espresso to elevate its cocoa flavors. On the food side, enjoy it with toasted nut biscotti or shortbread—the buttery crunch adds contrast to its pure chocolate intensity. For a fresh twist, pair with dried fruit, like figs or red berries, to bring a touch of brightness and complement the underlying sweetness.

Summary

The Boho Chocolate 70% Dark (Philippines – Kablon Farms) bar is a beautifully refined, award-winning expression of Philippine cacao. It delivers a powerful yet elegant cocoa experience, rooted in ethical sourcing and artisanal craftsmanship—ideal for chocolate lovers seeking depth and authenticity.

Great book
Format: Paperback
This is very similar to Panel Two, which I bought because of certain comic book writers that I enjoyed. Panel One is basically the same, which provide examples and even so "how to's" and "why's that" type of information.

Seeing the Creative Process for Graphic Novels
Format: Paperback
This is a fascinating look at the early creative processes writers do when they make scripts for graphic novels. The only down side to this book is it doesn't show any comparison between the scripts and the final product. I suppose that's part of the fun of this book is that you have to imagine the graphics just like the original artists did.
