Christos Hatzis' ballet score transcends and shatters the idea of genre and cultural boundaries by joining the searing and internationally renowned Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq who has collaborated with artists as varied as Bjork, the Kronos Quartet among others with haunting Cree songs of Steve Wood along with the Northern Cree Singers and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra led by Tadeusz Biernacki. Based on a story by Joseph Boyden the subject of the ballet is the history of the infamous Indian Residential Schools of Canada but clearly speaks to the universal issues of cultural identity. Going Home Star was described by CBC Television as "the most important dance mounted by the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in it's illustrious 75 year history." With this double CD, Hatzis's score containing elements of traditional ballet, swing era jazz, disco dance music, dub-stpe and scratch dj mixes and beyond help re-imagine a unique 21st Century music that aims for the kind of reconciliation and cultural awakening that is the deeper goal of this multifaceted dance project.

Very durable for a plush toy

My GSD husky mix loves this toy. She is "working on it" as I write. Her first call to action with any new toy is to get the squeaker out. This toy is well made enough so that she has not been able to reverse engineer it immediately (as she does with cheap dog toys). She seems to enjoy chewing on the handle making it squeak, which is pretty cute. The toy itself is bigger than I thought it would be which is nice, as my dog is bigger too. It is soft and well stuffed. The rope on the end will make it a great tug toy too. Right now it has my dog's full attention so we shall see how long it lasts. Overall, while not indestructible, it's definitely better than 90% of the toys we've gotten her so far in terms of durability. Great product!

Seems sturdy so far

So far my boys haven't ripped this apart, which is a good sign. They like to play tug with it and the squeaker is engaging (my pittie loves squeakers). Here's hoping it continues to last with my 2 tough chewers.

He likes it!

Shipping was quick, the packaging and product came undamaged.
Cute.
This dog toy is super soft. The squeaker is inside and seems more durable than most others.
The little bit of rope at the bottom is not the typical material you find with other popular dog toys.
My GR enjoys playing fetch with it and hasn't destroyed it. I feel this product is a decent value and would get it again. Other options to choose from too.

Durable and fun dog toy.

This plush hammer toy is incredibly soft and adorable, filled generously with plush material. My dog looks so goofy carrying it around in his mouth, and he has so much fun squeaking it! It's surprisingly durable; unlike many of his toys, which he typically chews through quickly, this one has stood up to his rough play so far. The little rope at the end is a thoughtful design element, allowing him to chew on it while maintaining durability. At 12 inches, the size is generous, making it perfect for medium and large dogs. Cleaning is easy; it can be spot cleaned with a microfiber cloth and warm, soapy water. For just $14.99, this toy is an excellent quality choice for the price!
