I have written this book in an attempt to provide the Ved_ntic philosophy studied within the court of the Gur_. This text was created within the Kav_ Darb_r and provides the essence of Ved_nt within one text to prevent Sikhs from continuing to seek other forms of knowledge which may plummet them into doubts. Even within the text there are sections that mention the doctrine of the Bh_gvat G_t_ and the _tam Bodh. This is the last
of the main five Ved_ntic texts that has been translated for the benefit of the sangat. This should hopefully assist those who do not have a complete grasp of the Gurmukh_ texts or the Punj_b_ vernacular.

This book is a direct translation of the commentary completed by Sant Har_ Singh Randh_we wale. This commentary is a lot easier to understand than the one created by Mahant Ganesh_ Singh and is more suited for those students looking to progress on the path of Sikh_.
