The first release in The Legend of Beauty and the Beast series. Motoko Kusanagi & Tachikoma, 1/4 scale statue as envisioned by Entei Ryu. Prime 1 Studio’s collaboration format, The Legend of Beauty and the Beast — created with diverse leading artists — introduces Motoko Kusanagi & Tachikoma from "Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex". Artist Entei Ryu, active in game and film concept art, unveiled this piece in 2024 and later drew attention with its garage kit release. Prime 1 Studio has translated her vision into a 1/4 scale statue. Preserving the distinctive composition in which the organic and the mechanical merge into one, we have leveraged the approx. 53 cm size to craft every element with precision. A lifelike gleam in the eyes. Sweeping cybernetic cables coursing through the prosthetic body. A rifle and Tachikoma that evoke a convincing metallic presence. In keeping with the artist’s style, we have added detail to enrich the interplay of organic and inorganic elements, further increasing the overall level of detail. The restrained sepia palette has been meticulously tuned to avoid monotony, achieving a color scheme that highlights the sculpt much like the original illustration. The custom base has also been created to complement the artist’s aesthetic. Reimagined by Entei Ryu and elevated to 1/4 scale by Prime 1 Studio, Motoko Kusanagi & Tachikoma arrives as a new expression in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the anime’s production. Experience this statement piece for yourself.

Incredibly well researched
Format: Paperback
Purchased in light of the current election fraud/security debates. I learned nothing so far is new. Data intensive. Can be dry at times, though many of the quotes from historical figures are revealing as to prevailing attitudes.

Excellent and thorough
This must be the definitive history of voting in America. I hold back from giving it five stars because it was a little more than what I was looking for, but this is as thorough as I have ever come across. Also, I love charts and graphs, and he has a great array of tables at the end. Interesting tidbit was the role war played throughout American history in expanding the right to vote. Also, though we all know how the right to vote gradually expanded, but what many of us didn't realize was how the right to vote actually shrunk at various points in American history. That is, some people who had the right to vote had it taken away at various moments in American history. When all is said and done, this is a great book.

read!
Format: Kindle
I had to read this book for a political theory class, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Keysarr did a great job of researching and writing it. It was not as dry as some of the other, similar books I've read. I would definitely recommend this one, even if it's not for a class.
