Brynje's Wool Thermo Zip Polo Baselayer is a long-sleeve top with ¾ zip neck for venting and protection from the cold. An open-weave "fishnet" construction means perspiration vapor can be rapidly transported to the outer layers and dry faster than a solid knit construction. The Merino wool and polyester blend provides excellent warmth when damp and superior odor attenuation. The solid knit inlay on the shoulder provides a comfortable layer under pack straps.
Brynje’s Merino wool blend is very soft against the skin and has greater strength and durability than 100% Merino wool yarns. Merino wool’s great odor management properties mean more uses between washings, which protects both the garment and the environment. Brynje Wool Thermo garments are exceptional for warm weather use as well because of the thermostatic qualities of the mesh.
Fit:
Mesh base layers are generally quite stretchy in all directions and are cut long. As the girth increases the length will decrease. This style is a Unisex fit. Generally the Women’s sizes will be one size smaller than Unisex. For example, a Unisex S is equivalent to a Women’s M.
