ÒZombieÓ is everywhere. ThereÕs Òzombie formalism,Ó Òzombie technology,Ó Òzombie debt,Ó Òzombie poetry.Ó If something exists, thereÕs a living dead version of it. Why is this? And to what effect? For years George has been exploring these questions and our cultureÕs fixation on zombie through painting, drawing, video and lecture. Starting with a collaborative video, also titled Zombie Variations, he began to work with Tom on a number of linguistic and poetic inquiries into zombie and the grotesque. This book brings together TomÕs sound and visual poetry and GeorgeÕs zombie research to create works at the intersection of word and image. We have made drawings, paintings, poems, tongue twisters, temporary tattoos, graveyard rubbings, cartoons, xeroxes, xeroxes of xeroxes, an iOS app called BlabberLab and more. In many chapters notes and sketches introduce the works; the Appendix section provides thorough title and background information to individual works.

Enables the person to move around while wearing.
These silicon socks look a bit odd at first glance but they work great and best of all, any lotions and oily creams are contained on the inside so you can walk around. They are very soft. I haven't had them long so I can't comment on durability, but they are not made of lightweight material.

Does the job but dangerous to walk with!
Does the job but dangerous to walk with: foot is sliding inside the sock if the foot was treated with cream or lotion prior. It is uncomfortable to sleep with but a necessary hurdle to heal your heels!
