The Hard Case Backpack Conversion from Rucpac is a harness that allows you to wear a wheeled hard case as a backpack. It consists of a foam-padded back support and straps, and is compatible with select Pelican cases. The harness features one touch-fastener to adjust the height of the case on your back and four weight-bearing quick-release tension buckles. The fastener and buckles clasp on to the hard case in five places. For enhanced comfort, the Backpack Conversion evenly distributes the weight of the hard case across your back and shoulders using the five key attachment points and the sternum strap. Attaching the Conversion Harness to your hard case can be done by securing the webbing through the top carry grip or through the trolley handle.
However it is attached, you can still access the inside of your case without having to remove the harness. There are two D-rings for attaching smaller accessories to your harness straps. If you need to remove the Backpack Conversion, it folds compactly into your case.
Compatible with, but not limited to, the following hard cases:
- Pelican Case 1510, 1560, 1610, 1620, 1630, 1640, 1650, 1660, and 1690.
- Pelican Storm Case iM2500, iM2620, iM2720, iM2750, iM2875, iM2950, iM2975, and iM3075.
