ECS Tuning in-house designed and engineered Functional Aero Rear Wing Kit is an all-in-one solution to providing your Volkswagen MK7/MK7.5 GTI or Golf R with more downforce necessary to improve rear tire grip for improved handling. This kit was specifically engineered for the MK7 GTI and Golf R and includes all of the components necessary for a comprehensive install and feature top-tier quality components for long term durability, such as the carbon fibre wing, billet aluminium mounting brackets, and 5052 aluminium uprights, water proof gaskets and black oxide stainless steel hardware.

The spoiler has an adjustable AoA (Angle of Attack) between 1.3°, 6.8°, 12.3° and 17.8° to perfect downforce to drag ratio. The end plates are adjustable for aerodynamic needs and the 5mm thick powder coated aluminium uprights maintain wing position at track speeds.

PART DESIGN
All components in-house designed and engineered to provide functional aerodynamic benefits, specific to the MK7 GTI/Golf R body, using FARO ARM laser scanning technology and SolidWorks 3D CAD modelling for precision fitment along with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to provide the best balance between downforce while minimizing drag.

Carbon Fibre Rear Wing:

  • Specifically engineered 60" width
  • Made from lightweight, hand-laid carbon fibre material with pre-impregnated 2x2 twill weave carbon fibre cloth and epoxy resin, then autoclave cured and finished in a durable gloss clear coat for UV and heat protection
  • Eppler 423 high lift airfoil profile
  • Peak Lift to drag ratio is at 5 degrees angle of attack
  • Downforce peaks and begins dropping at 14 degrees angle of attack
  • 3D wing profile with forward and upward curvature
  • Anodized aluminium threaded inserts at the wing ends and mounting bosses

Wing End Plates:

  • Aerodynamic profile, made from 12ga 5052 aluminium, then black anodized
  • Adjustable end plate angle
  • Includes stainless steel mounting hardware

Wing Mounting Brackets:

  • Made from 6061-T6 billet aluminium, then black anodized
  • Adjustable pitch to dial in the spoiler's angle of attack between 1.3° and 17.8° ; each hole adjusts ~5.5° of AoA
  • Includes M8 stainless steel, black oxide hardware
  • Subtle, post-anodized engraved logo

Upright Brackets:

  • Made from 5mm thick 5052 aluminium, then powder coated wrinkle black
  • Utilizes zinc-coated rivet nuts within the upper body shell (requires drilling into the shell and trimming of the factory hatch spoiler) and billet aluminium lower mounting brackets (requires drilling through the hatch shell)

Lower Mounting Brackets:

  • CNC-Machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminium then black anodized
  • Lower-interior backing plate ensures the hatch shell resists deformation and properly supports downward forces
  • Rubber Mounting Gaskets
  • Water-proof rubber gaskets ensure a leak-free seal at the upper and lower hatch shell mounting brackets

PERFORMANCE FEATURES
Assists with rear tire contact by applying downforce over the rear axle. This is very beneficial on FWD vehicles where rear traction loss may occur at high speed cornering.
This wing produces up to 100 lbf of downforce when measured at 80mph, 220 lbf at 120mph and 300 lbf at 140mph
Performance data metrics are collected utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software to validate our design

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Our ECS Functional Aerodynamic Rear Wing Kit was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modelling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
