'A masterful love story' Nicola Dinan'Very special ' Laura Kay'Wildly entertaining, lovingly written' Jess Kidd'Rib-achingly funny' Curtis Garner'Delicious' Lily Lindon'A firecracker of a book' Emma Morgan'Achingly funny and utterly heartrending' Sara Nisha AdamsIt's 2067 at Palm Meridian Retirement Resort, Florida, and the last day of Hannah's life. Tomorrow, as the sun burns the dew off the lawns, she'll close her eyes for the very last time.

But she won't be going quietly. Tonight, Hannah's throwing an end-of-life party: the drinks are on ice, and the palm trees are strung with lights beneath technicolour skies. And though Hannah has less than twenty-four hours left, she's holding out for one last, impossible thing...

Amongst the guest list is Hannah's long-lost love Sophie - the woman who Hannah can't forget, even after forty years. Hannah has to give her greatest love one last try. Soon, the party is in full swing. Hannah waits nervously, unaware that before her last ever dawn breaks, a devastating secret will come to light. If Sophie shows, how can Hannah say goodbye all over again? And is there enough time to fix the past?Brimming with heart, and just as hilarious as it is heartbreaking, Palm Meridian is a one-of-a kind novel that will stay with you forever. Grace & Frankie meets The Notebook, for fans of Malibu Rising, this bittersweet novel affirms that life is what we choose to make of it, and any story can be a love story, if you let it.

'Palm Meridian is a masterful love story set in a time of crisis and in a burnt and shredded world. Flahive deftly weaves between the past, present and future. It is heartful and hopeful in equal measure' Nicola Dinan, author of Bellies'Palm Meridian is the bizarre sapphic riot you didn't know you needed. I'm speechless, which is a rarity. A single page can make you both cackle with laughter and want to burst into ugly tears - it's balanced beautifully that way. Explosively, joyously human, it bursts with hope and kindness, and it's rib-achingly funny' Curtis Garner, author of Isaac'Oh, this beautiful, brilliant book. WHAT a debut. Achingly funny and utterly heartrending, written with so much joy and hope and love. I am bereft to have finished and to have left Hannah, Sophie, Esme, Nate, Luke, the Eileen's, and everyone at Palm Meridian' Sara Nisha Adams, author of The Reading List'Bittersweet lesbians try to enjoy one last farewell party at the end of the world - this is a delicious debut. I read the first chapter standing on my doormat, having just received the book in the post and expecting to just flick quickly through, but instead I got hooked in and finished the first few chapters with the delighted grin of someone who knows they're going to love reading the rest' Lily Lindon, author of Double Booked'Hilarious, heart-wrenching and hopeful, Palm Meridian is the modern lesbian novel I've been waiting for' Anna Bailey, author of Tall Bones'Hilarious and wise with an enormous heart, Palm Meridian is an extraordinary achievement. Fun to read, while also bittersweet, Flahive's prose can sneak up on you. One minute you're laughing aloud, and the next you're choked up by a poignant punch to the gut. Consider yourself warned. This novel will make you feel alive' Camille Perri, the author of The Assistants'Palm Meridian is artfully crafted, a love story, a tragedy, a comedy, a meditation on life and death - our own, and that of the planet we are, for now, lucky enough to occupy. I laughed out loud, I turned pages hoping against hope and I wept. This is a very special novel, and in these extraordinary times, I think it is exactly what we all need to read. I will be thinking about it for a long time' Laura Kay, author of The Split'This book is an absolute hoot. It's also a poignant celebration of love, life and friendship in all its forms. Flahive's debut is wildly entertaining, lovingly written and beautifully anarchic - a visit to Palm Meridian Retirement Resort is a must' Jess Kidd, author of The Night Ship'A firecracker of a book - an enchanting mixture of hilarity and moving observations on love and loss' Emma Morgan, author A Love Story for Bewildered Girls'A brilliantly warm and nostalgic journey through the highs and lows of surviving life's drama' Justin Myers, author of The Last Romeo'A riotous novel marking the arrival of an exciting new voice in fiction' Steven Rowley, author of The Guncle'A stunningly original, heartbreaking yet brilliantly funny story of the power of love and friendship. Grace Flahive has perfectly depicted end-of-life millennials: an older, wiser version of 2025's Hannah's and Sophie's, surviving in a frighteningly realistic climate-change-devastated world. One of my favourite novels of the year by far, this is absolutely destined for the big screen!' Laura Price, author of Single Bald Female'Fresh, funny and full of hope. Grace writes with such originality and heart, I know readers are going to fall in love with Hannah and her joyfully life-affirming end-of-life party' Freya Sampson, author of The Last Library'The kind of read that takes you for a ride - backwards and forwards and in directions you didn't know you could go. I love a story that spans joy and grief, love and loss, laughter and tears. What a thrilling novel this is' Hillary Yablon, author of Sylvia's Second Act'Bursting with humour, queer joy and heart. A unique and deeply touching celebration of both community and life' Emily Austin, author of Everyone in This Room Will Someday Be Dead'Boldly and beautifully written, with an audacious and unforgettable heroine - everybody's going to want to move to Palm Meridian! A book that, without ever being mawkish or sentimental, simply reminds us of the joy of being alive' Marianne Cronin, author of The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot'Palm Meridian is packed with humour and wit, has a cast of wonderful characters and is powered along by a gripping, twisty plot. Books like this make me feel positive about the future of fiction!' Matt Cain, author of The Secret Life of Albert Entwistle'What a beautiful book. Gorgeously written, you can feel the warmth of the sunset of Hannah's life on every page. So funny and so sad. Compulsory queer reading this summer!' Chloe Michelle Howarth, author of Sunburn

It’s beige and not white. Once install - hard to disinstall. Need a drill to put it together

Does the job, but assembling by yourself is a nightmare
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Black
Does it do the job? Yes, although as others said there are small gaps but it's not a huge deal. The price is also good. But the reason I'm giving it a 3/5 is simply because the assembly for this was a complete nightmare. I honestly don't think I would recommend this to anyone unless they have another person to help them assemble it, because doing it by myself was terrible. I don't think I'd buy this again, I think I'd opt to just spend a bit more money and save myself the trouble personally.

Reasonably adequate room divider
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Beige
I'm reviewing this as I assemble it. Couple things: 1. I didn't expect as much assembly. I've ordered dividers before and they more-or-less came as one unit. Sometimes the panels needed screwing together. These require complete assembly and come largely as three rods: two make up vertical columns and snap together. Another one (called part "C") makes the horizontal columns and you have two of these per panel (one attaches to part "A" and the other part "B"). These parts are metal with a plastic shim. Using the wood screws to attach to part "C" is a real pain in the neck. There's not much holding the panel in place so it's a little tricky. One tactic I've found while I'm assembling that works for the initial connections from parts A and B to their respective "C" rods is to hold the screw in place with a screw driver and then rotating the rod around the screw. This will do a number on your hands if you aren't wearing gloves. This obviously doesn't work when completing the connection. Using a driller driver on this is really near impossible because there isn't anything you can use to secure it in place. You can use it on the first panel, but as it gets longer, it becomes increasingly difficult and because it isn't wood, it's really tight. I considered drilling larger pilot holes but since there are only 4x4=16 screws I need to screw in, I just decided to use my screw driver to complete it. 2. Also related to assembly. When completing the panels (attaching parts "A" and "B" to parts "C" that have the cloth cover on it), you have to be careful that when you tighten that side that it isn't loosening the other side. Because the pilot holes are so tight, you can end up rotating the rod, which rotates it in the same direction as looser on the original side. Having someone hold the "C" rod in place while you screw it in is probably the easiest approach. I didn't have a 2nd person, so I just had to keep flipping back and forth and tightening both sides as I screwed it in. Not the worlds biggest deal, but annoying nonetheless. 3. The way the instructions are written, they seem to suggest building this thing progressively; that is, you do panel 1, then 2, connect them together, then do 3 and connect it, etc. I took a different route that I suspect saved me quite a bit of trouble, and I assembled all four panels first and THEN connected everything together. 4. For the love of God make sure you check that the plastic tip is on the same side for every panel. Otherwise, you have to take one side apart again and reverse it. On the bright side, if this happens, you've essentially bored out the pilot holes to be the correct size... which is having me question if I shouldn't have just bored them out to the appropriate width in the first place. 5. Attaching all of the panels together is also an enormous pain in the ass unless you happen to have an 88" long elevated surface. Attaching the legs either requires you to elevate one side, which will invariably twist the inexplicably cheap material in the bottom connectors... or you can attach them sideways... or you can put this thing upright, having two people hold the panels in place while you use the allen wrench to tighten the bolts on the underside. None of those are particularly great options. NOW on to the utility itself. 1. The panels do let some light through (I didn't believe their advertising, and that was one of the reasons that I bought beige, is that I wanted it to not be too dark). They aren't transparent though, so it isn't that far off from their description. They functionally work great, and keep the mess of wires hidden and when I'm sitting at my desk, actually reflect quite a bit of light into my office. Great! 2. My wife has described these as "the most hideous piece of furniture ever conceived of by man." So it does not have spouse approval factor. Granted, she will seldom be in my office area, so that isn't the end of the world. 3. These are really hard to align in a way that doesn't look a little tacky. There are some plastic connectors but they don't do a bang up job of keeping these in place. Each panel is slightly tilted and it's... quite obvious. I may at some point make my own improvements to these to help make them more level. It's not a particularly expensive product so I wasn't expecting much so it's fine and I'm not going to ding them on the rating because of it. All said, would I buy this product again? Probably not. It's assembly was ~90 minutes which is about 75 minutes longer than I was anticipating spending on this (not including the 5 minute writeup that I'm doing here). But am I going to return it? Also no, if for no other reason I'd be just as annoyed taking it apart and putting it in the original box to return it.

Sturdy, Easy to Set Up, and Looks Great
Color: Grey, Size: 34" - 3 Panel
I’m really happy with this RANTILA 3-panel room divider. It was simple to set up, stands securely on its own, and gives plenty of privacy. The height is perfect, and the panels look clean and modern in my space. It’s lightweight enough to move around but still feels sturdy. Overall, a great divider that works exactly as I needed.

Not 6 ft
Color: Grey, Size: 34" - 3 Panel
I bought this for filming my auditions. I am 5’4” .The height lists is 6 ft but the fabric only reaches 5’9 1/2 “! when I must film myself head to toe, the top bars are showing. It’s easy to set up. But when I film I must tilt my camera to keep the top bars out of frame which is not acceptable.
