18K Gold H. Stern Golden Stones Ring with Rock Crystal

Designed by Brazilian jeweler H. Stern, this 18k gold rock crystal ring is part of the Golden Stones collection. It is a sculptural piece with a very high dome: the rock crystal cabochon sits approximately 1/2 an inch above the finger. The stone is highly polished so it captures everything in its environment, reflecting it back like a crystal ball. The entire world seems to be encased in the crystal, and it creates magic by the nature of its reflection. The crystal is held in an invisible setting, so it morphs seamlessly into the 18k gold band of the ring, which has a textured matte surface. The crystal is a slightly oblong, organic pebble-like form, a design element that the H. Stern Golden Stones collection is known for. The ring is mesmerizing to look at, appears illuminated, and makes for a great conversation piece. 

H. Stern is a jewelry house in Rio de Janeiro, founded in 1945 by Hans Stern. Their jewelry is highly sought after and often worn by notable celebrities. Their iconic designs highlight the beautiful gemstones found in Brazil. 

The face of the ring measures approximately 5/8” x 7/8” x 1/2”. The ring weighs 16.85 grams. It is marked with the H. Stern hallmark, 750, and a star.
