Any attempt to sum up the life and outsized presence of Antoine "Fats" Domino, Jr. in New Orleans is folly. Simply stated, neither would have been the same without the other. Both are eternal joys. The life Fats lived here - red beans simmering, music radiating from humble architecture more human than the towers that define other cities - is palpable in Terrance Osborne’s robust portrait of The Fat Man (title of the first rock and roll record to sell 1 million copies, cowritten with producer Dave Bartholomew) in the kingdom he ruled with grace and notes.

No matter the accolades (credit from the likes of Elvis, John & Paul; member of the first class inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; Lifetime Achievement Grammy; National Medal of Arts recipient; 25th on Rolling Stone’s list of the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time"), the global popularity (65 million records sold, 35 Billboard Top 40 hits - 11 of them Top 10) and the means that flowed from his songwriting, often with Bartholomew (Ain't That a Shame, I Want to Walk You Home, I’m Gonna Be a Wheel Someday, I’m in Love Again, I’m Walkin’, Whole Lotta Lovin' and many more), he never left the Lower Ninth Ward until forced out by Katrina. His humility and permanence personified the soul of New Orleans, where music, food and family are bedrock values.

Few painters command color as intuitively as Terrance Osborne, or apply paint with such knowing detail. Osborne’s instinctive sense of light and shadow is felt as much as seen here. There’s much to be discovered in the bounty of this piece, his fifth Jazz Fest commission (including two stand-out Congo Square commissions). Osborne was the natural choice to portray Fats. He illuminates Fats’ continuing legacy by creating a matched “diptych” to his sold-out 2012 Jazz Fest portrait of Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews. It stands on its own yet forms a brilliant baton-passing allegory paired “around da cornder” from Shorty’s house.

Classic oil-based silk-screen pigments printed one by one on archival papers over the course of a two month process translate the artist's intent with perfect fidelity. The remarqued and canvas editions bear Fats Domino’s estate stamped signature. “Brilliant” doesn’t do the work or his subject justice. Like Fats’ legacy, this Jazz Fest poster is timeless - a defining work and a must-have poster.

Will buy again!
This smells AMAZING. Immediately after I opened up the whipped lotion, I was hit with an intense coco butter smell. The oil has the same affect, only with a gorgeous shiny finish. Both the oil and the butters consistency is perfect, the lotion doesnt feel too thick and the oil doesnt leave me slipping and sliding lol. There is shimmer in it but it doesnt look like Ive covered myself in glitter so i love that. The moisture lasts for such a long time especially when applied right after a shower. My skin absorbed it very nicely without feeling sticky or like there is any left over residue. The price for two was absolutely worth it10/10 will reorder after I run out.

🧦 Simple & Effective – ZenToes Moisturizing Socks Review ✨
Color: Green Gingham & Multi Plaid, Size: Regular
These ZenToes moisturizing socks are such a smart and effective solution for dry, cracked heels! I really like that they only cover the heels instead of the whole foot—no hot, sweaty toes, which is a huge plus. They come in a pack of two, and for the price, it’s a great value. I also found that they fit well and stayed in place overnight. They were a bit snug around my foot, but still comfortable enough to wear. What really impressed me is how well they work. The socks are nice and thick, and after just one use overnight, my heels were noticeably smoother. Even better—the results lasted about a week without needing any extra lotion, which I personally love since I’m not a fan of applying creams. I would definitely buy these again and highly recommend them if you’re looking for an easy, low-maintenance way to keep your heels soft.

They work!!
Color: Fuzzy Slate Gray, Size: Regular, Color: Fuzzy Slate Gray, Size: Regular
I bought these to replace a very old pair that I originally got at Bed Bath and Beyond like 20+ yrs ago, and the fabric was starting to fray. However, the gel pad inside (at the heel) was still working just fine. Anyway, this new set includes 2 pairs, with a gel pad inside each heel area. Results are truly amazing, I kid you not. You can use them without a moisturizer, but I like to put moisturizer on my heels, then wear these overnight, and in the morning my heels are soft, with no dry skin and NO cracks. I like the fact that these are kind of soft and fuzzy (outside), but I LOVE that they leave your toes exposed and cool (because my heels feel kind of warm from the moisturizer and gel pad). They are of good thickness, and I feel they will last a long time (of course remains to be seen). Highly recommend.
