Rockburn The Chosen Single Vineyard Central Otago Pinot Noir 2018Spicy oak Plum Raspberry Firm tannins "This is stylish and magnificently expressed; the seductively complex bouquet shows spiced cherry, ripe strawberry, game, thyme, cedar and savoury mushroom notes, leading to a succulent palate that is concentrated and expansive. The wine offers outstanding fruit purity combined with splendid complexity, backed by fine, grainy tannins, finishing impressively long and refined. At its best: 2020 to 2028" Sam Kim,

"An elegant, supple Pinot Noir with floral, violet, plum, raspberry, thyme and spicy oak flavours. Sleek wine with a silken texture. Quite forward and restrained. A new label from Rockburn" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, May 2019

The Chosen Pinot Noir 2018 is sourced from a Gibbston vineyard, displays qualities of plum, blackcurrant and tea leaf, and features a plush texture and firm tannin length.  As a vegan wine, it contains no animal fining products, which is a result of the winemakers commitment to minimal intervention when producing Rockburns exemplary Pinot Noirs. Crafted for immediate enjoyment, this is a rare single vineyard wine which is ready to drink now, or cellar if you choose!

At Rockburn they deal not only with fruit from their own exceptional sites, but also from select vineyards located around the many and varied sub-regions of Central Otago.  Once-in-a-while the nuances of site and season conspire to generate fruit of exceptional character, far too interesting to blend away and they choose instead to bottle this as a single vineyard expression of terroir distinct from their estate bottlings.

Love it!
Format: Paperback
My 6 year old LOVES this book! I read it to him every night that I know it by heart. He’s extremely fascinated by black holes, and It has really got him curious about cells and atoms.

2nd book if you have black light
Format: Hardcover
The book is ok, with the same plot as "there was an old lady who swallowed a fly" but there is a second book that goes back to front if you have a blacklight. Some of the pages were not printed well with the invisible ink but I really liked that second book better, as it explains the terminology like quarks and atoms. It is a fun book but having a black light is a must.

Great for space loving kids
Format: Hardcover
My son is super into space and planets and loved this book. It's funny and informative. My son was asking me what stuff was and why it was being eaten up. What makes it better is with a blue light in the dark you can read the book backwards as a whole new glow in the dark story!
