About the Composer
West Dylan Thordson, an American film music composer, is known for his original scores to Joy, The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst, Foxcatcher, and M. Night Shyamalan’s Split and Glass. In creating the score for Glass, Thordson sought to discover and capture sounds that were brittle and sharp - mainly, violin and metal percussion. His aim was to represent the melding of light and dark through the combination of longer gnarled sounds with pristine orchestral elements.
