Because the chain is thick, when you close it on itself, it becomes sturdy and rigid like a bangle, which gives a great, elegant structure to the otherwise fluid chain. This is a beautifully made piece in perfect condition. It has a tongue in groove closure and a figure 8 safety clasp. We currently have two of these bracelets and have pictured them here together (though each is sold separately). One bracelet looks great—two look incredible. Circa mid-century, the snake chain was a popular link of the 1950’s and 1960’s.
The bracelet is 7 3/8” long and 3/8” wide. It weighs 45.25 grams. Unmarked but acid tests as 14k.

Good for small spaces.

Great size. Its medium/small. Not cheap looking which is great. It has space for our phone charger, a drink and a small lamp. (The one in the photo is too big)
My fiance put it together within an hour, the instructions were easy to understand.
It does not wobble but we do have it on wood. Its not heavy so it does slide around.
