Pale salmon in colour, this is an attractive, fresh and stylish New Zealand Rosé full of red berry flavours and spice. Orange blossom, watermelon and sea breeze aromas mingle on the nose. Elegant and well-balanced, this wine shows undertones of tangelo, oyster shell and subtle almond notes. The finish is clean and dry with a lick of salt.

Black Cottage Rosé was inspired by founder, Dave Clouston’s long stint in Corsica and the South of France where he crafted fresh, crisp, dry, salmon pink rosé wines. Here in Marlborough the warm, dry summer lead to an early harvest with pristine fruit, small berries, and great concentration. Predominantly from Pinot and treated as a white wine in the cellar, this rosé had the added benefit of 8 weeks on light yeast lees, increasing the texture and mineral notes.

Food Pairing: Great as an aperitif or enjoy with seafood, especially shellfish.
