Paradox Master Plans by Thomas Moore - BookThe classic paradox but in a box = Parabox. The classic paradox but in a box = Parabox. Your assistant enters a small box only just big enough to hold them, then the box is filled with another box, spears and finally opened up completely to show there's nothing inside - no two objects can occupy the same space!Utilizing a principle I have been refining for 20 years and endlessly refined and improved using the latest state of the art 3D design technology to make the design as practical, portable and deceptive as possible. Designed to fit within the "Harbin style" of wheel-on-and-perform compact illusions it is designed to be practical and deceptive everywhere from a tiny cabaret stage to the biggest theatre - there's no black-art, mirrors, trapdoors, special lighting or deceptive steps to worry about and the entire illusion has been designed to fit in the back of a car and wheel through a normal doorway.
You get the complete, detailed, plans for this illusion for just $50 - these aren't your usual "magic plans" drawn 30 years ago and missing lots of important information but rather full colour A3 size, 15 page, workshop-ready, fully annotated plans that you can hand straight to any craftsman for them to build without any specialist magic knowledge needed.
What everyone is saying about Thomas' previous illusions plans...
"Thomas has a very keen sense of what is going on in the world of illusion building as well as the world of performers. He offers some very sound advice... Hands down this is one of the best investments an illusionist could make if they are looking for a fresh approach to the world of illusion"
- Paul Romhany - Vanish Magazine
"What a wonderful work. Every magician in the land should be forced to learn it by heart before inflicting their performance on an unsuspecting world."
- Andrew o'Connor - TV magic producer
"This Book is enormous... genuinely surprised me... I haven't seen this concept before... just got (their) money's worth... it's a very interesting idea... you'll find some interesting ideas here.... (it's) a high price but relative to what a professional might get out of it it's a small investment"
- David Britland - Genii Magazine
"You write so well - it's a VERY nice book"
- John Taylor
"The large blocks of text might make for difficult reading but the soundness of his advice and the sensible observations about how illusions work make the grind quite worth it. This is obviously a work of love... (Thomas) delivers an essay that should be read by magicians of any genre... (he) breaks down the difficult task of being oneself on stage, giving the reader a good starting point that could lead to some interestingly diverse ends. The price of the book is hefty.... But if you are looking for a few new illusions to add to your stage show, then Confictura might be exactly what you need."
- Jared Kopf - Magic Magazine
"Fantastic!... I have read Steinmeyer, Parker, Osborne, etc. your tome has the most usable information I have seen in an illusion book. Very well done..."
- Patrick Wolford
"Congratulations Tom on Confictura, I was thrilled to see what you've come up with. It's a valuable and insightful work obviously underpinned by your contemporary, innovative and exciting illusion designs, but more importantly focusing on the rarely discussed elements of stagecraft such as material selection and music choice. I feel sure it will become a must read work for all interested in illusion magic"
- Chris Murphy
"...and it looks great, very interesting articles and I like the ideas of the illusions, I will read it carefully!"
- Daniel Ka
"Thank you so much for the amazing book... WOW!!! It looks amazing!!!"
- Luis deMatos

Worth it!
Format: Paperback
Great book to help keep kids engaged and excited to tour through Paris. Recently used it on our trip with 5-8 year olds and had a blast searching for paintings in museums or various sites through the city. Had some interesting facts/history to share about the various places (although wish it had more)

Kept a 10 year old engaged
Format: Paperback
I bought this for my 10 year old for our trip to Paris. It contained some activities that kept him interested during our museum/castle trips. It even lead us to Chateau de Vincennes which we wouldn’t have found on our own! The Louvre hunt had us going all over the place (mainly because he can’t leave anything incomplete) but it helped initiate conversations about history.
The only issue is that the Notre Dame challenge is sadly impossible to complete now based on the fire in April. I also wish something would be added regarding Les Invalides.
If you have elementary aged kids then I would highly recommend.

Excellent addition to a trip
Format: Paperback
Just got back from Paris. My 9 year old daughter loved using this book throughout our adventures. It was light enough to carry with us each day and had a nice mix of information to read and things to look for. There were A LOT of different sites listed. In a week we still didn't get to some of them. Would definitely buy one of these books for another trip.

A must-have for Grade-schoolers going to Paris
Format: Paperback
This was an absolutely wonderful Secret Agent Spy book that kept our kids engaged throughout our time in Paris. I bought a copy for each of our three children. This book was perfect for my 8 and 9 year-old, my 6 year old was only moderately engaged. It could be her personality, it could be her age. But what this book did do was bring to life the main tourist attractions we were dragging them to. We spent 4 hours at the Louvre, and once we were done with that Mission, my older two were immediately wanting to move on to the missions that took place just outside the Louvre. The writing is appropriate without being condescending or too simple. Highly recommend this for any grade-schooler. May be ok for middle schoolers too. Thanks Catherine Aragon!
