At Automotive Passion, we have engineered a full dry carbon fibre rear diffuser specifically for the Honda Civic Type R FL5, developed to enhance both rear-end styling and aerodynamic efficiency. The diffuser integrates seamlessly with the car’s OEM lines, delivering a factory-style appearance with a motorsport-inspired edge.

Our objective was to create a diffuser that not only amplifies the aggressive look of the Civic Type R but also manages turbulent airflow more effectively under high-speed driving conditions.

During the design phase, we focused on airflow control and underbody stability. This was achieved through our in-house aerodynamic simulation software, which enables dynamic wind speed testing across CAD models and engineering drawings. The result is improved high-speed airflow dissipation, increased downforce, and reduced rear-end lift.

All parts are made from premium pre-preg dry carbon fibre, finished in Glasurit clear coat with full UV protection.

Install:

The diffuser is a direct plug-and-play replacement part using the vehicle’s OEM mounting point and clip locations. We always add a small drop of bonding agent on the back of each clip once pressed in place for longevity. Professional installation is recommended
