They are made from English or Black walnut, checkered with the Colt logo engraved, oil finished. The escutcheon is installed. The original screw can be used or a replacement screw can be purchased from our website. The last photo shows the back of the EARLY 2nd Series grips; these grips do not have a rib on the back, they ONLY fit the early guns. If your gun has this rib on

If your gun has this rib on its back, you may not have an "early" gun and should contact us for help.
