Tongue/Tow Ratings

NOTE: The GoWesty trailer hitches we offer for Bus and Vanagon are the same size as a standard Class III hitch (2"), and accept any accessory or towing insert that fits into a standard Class III hitch. We manufacture them this way to increase versatility. However, this hitch is NOT capable of standard Class III loading in terms of tongue weight or towing capacity. Do not load this hitch at the tow ball more than 100lbs., and factor 10 lbs. less per inch outward from where the tow ball would normally sit for using the hitch to carry bikes or a basket, for example. We do not recommend using this hitch to tow more than 1000 lbs.
