This freer-flowing intercooler is a direct replacement for the smaller, more restrictive OEM set up and the stepped twin-core design makes the most of the space available.

TECHNICAL DATA


AIRTEC Motorsport front mount intercooler upgrade for the BMW M2 fitted with the N55 engine.

This freer-flowing intercooler is a direct replacement for the smaller and more restrictive OEM set up.

It features a stepped twin-core (130mm and 40mm) design for maximum frontal area in the limited space provided behind the bumper. Together with high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks, the AIRTEC intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume over standard.

Despite this improvement, it fits neatly behind the original bumper, requires no trimming or cutting and can be used with the original boost hoses and connections. The comprehensive fitting kit includes all the correct fixtures and fittings, step-by-step instructions with pictures and should take around 2-3 hours to complete.

The intercooler is available in Pro-Series Black finish and either with or without the AIRTEC logo.

Works well, charges at a good pace (neither too fast nor too slow which is perfect for me) but phone won't charge if it is on landscape mode. This is by design and it not an issue at all for me but I understand it could matter to others. Although the design is simple the color is pretty and it has been sturdy so far. No cable issues either. Magnets connect as they should even though I have a case on my phone, cause my case is not too thick, it still charges my phone. With my airpods case I do have to make sure it is right on the magnet cause if it is slightly off it won't charge but again this is design and not a huge issue. Due to the charger's shell being made of plastic (or what seems like plastic), the airpods case can easily slip on the charger as you set them to charge. Just a slight adjustment and it charges the airpods pro case. My bro used it to charge one of his more recent apple watches (forgot which one it is) and it charged just fine so it seems to be compatible with newer devices. I don't see why the magnetic charger wouldn't work on newer devices (i have an iPhone 14) because the magnetic charging works the same way, right? The only reason I see this charger not working would be 1) you or someone else drop and break it or 2) manufacturer defect.
