On December 8, 2022, I ventured to East Canyon Reservoir, located near Morgan, Utah, for a photo shoot. The day was extremely cold, and the low temperatures were even more noticeable on the shore of the reservoir. The road to the reservoir was marked by cliffs on the side of the road and conifers, with large signs warning of roads with no access due to lack of maintenance after the previous day's snowfall.

A few days before my visit, I read on social media that the park's mobile cabins were perfect for renting on beautiful days. I was excited to take some photos before the water in the reservoir froze. However, as I got further out of town and onto the highway, I became more and more nervous about the state of the road. I was afraid of losing control of my car in the snow or getting stranded.

Despite my fears, I kept going, singing and praying to God for safety. When a snowplow passed me on the highway, I felt a sense of peace come over me. This photo, Spirit of God, was one of the first I took that day. It serves as a reminder not to worry when the Spirit of God is with us. Just by invoking the Holy Name of him, we have the Holy benefit of him.

While I was taking photos, the mist over the water suddenly disappeared, leaving me in awe. Although I tried to capture more misty images, I couldn't. However, the presence of the Spirit of God was palpable, creating a beautiful environment around me. With this landscape photography, I hope to convey the peace and joy that I experienced during the photo shoot.
