    About Misono ミソノ

Family-run Misono is Japan’s oldest Western-style knife maker based in Seki City, Japan. Established nearly 90 years ago, Misono began as a maker of vegetable peelers, and started producing their own knives in the 1960s. With only 50 workers, they insist on producing all their western-styled knives in their workshop in the traditional Japanese way - hand-forged, hand-grinded and hand-sharpened. Marrying the user-friendliness of the West and the qualities of the Orient, Misono continues to be a brand loved by global customers.

    Care:

Wash and dry with a soft sponge, and safely store after use. Avoid cutting into bones, frozen foods, hard fruit pits.

    Cutting Surface:

Wood, rubberized boards and high-end composites, and quality plastics such as polyethylene make acceptable cutting surfaces, and will help protect and prolong knife’s edge. AVOID glass, metal, countertops, and other rigid, non-forgiving surfaces.

    Sharpening:

We recommend sharpening all quality Japanese knives on whetstones, as we believe they yield the best results for your knives. This knife has a 70/30 ground double bevel edge. You should sharpen at the same angle for both sides, but follow the same grind ratio of 70/30.

    Excellent Quality
    Size: 11"x17", Size: 11"x17"
This paper is the only paper I have ever tried with my sublimation printer. I get the most vibrant colors with every transfer. I have not experienced any fading even after washing multiple times. I have purchased this paper in letter size, 11x17, as well as 13x19 for use on welcome doormats. I have not been disappointed with any. The paper feeds through my printer without issue whether I load a single sheet, or multiples. So far, I've used it to sublimate on dishtowels, garden flags, welcome mats, t shirts, sweatshirts, and mugs. I am always happy with the finished product. I highly recommend this sublimation paper, and it can usually be found at a great price. I advise you to stock up when you see a sale

    Best sub paper!
    Size: 8.5"x11"
This is actually my second box of this paper I purchased. I use it that much! I like it that much! It works easily through my Epson 2850. The sub ink transfers to this paper with vibrant colors before pressing. I like the ASub print on the back to help me load the paper correctly in my printer. The ink does not bleed through the paper. I like that this paper comes in a plastic bag and in a box. This is helpful to keep the moisture out of the paper. The paper is durable as I try to manipulate on my substrate.
