This VW Golf GTI performance exhaust is made in 3″/76.2mm pipework and fits from the catalytic converter section backwards (Cat-back) these exhausts replace the centre and rear sections.

This exhaust is part of the Cobra Sport Venom range and is extremely loud. This sports exhaust is sold for non road use only and will exceed all legal noise regulations.

For those who wish to retain the standard downpipe, whilst still improving the sound and performance of their vehicle, Cobra Sport have developed a solution in the form of their new Venom Performance Exhaust System which fits from the catalyst back.

Precision TIG-welded from T304 stainless steel, this is the loudest possible cat back exhaust system currently offered by Cobra for the Mk7 GTI. The ‘Venom’ exhaust essentially replaces the standard vehicle’s back box with beautiful mandrel-bent pipework and ditches the enormous standard centre resonator in favour of a smaller unit to iron out any possible drone that would otherwise be created. Throughout the rev range, Venom-equipped cars are an average of 7db louder than standard, and when fitted with the optional DSG gearbox, emit an enhanced sporty tone on upshifts too.

A range of 4″/101.6mm slash cut tailpipes are available, including highly polished tips, Ceramic-coated Blackout and Carbon Fibre tips available (optional extra), all of which really set the rear of the car apart from a standard GTI. Like all Cobra Sport exhausts, this system utilises precision TIG-welding techniques for exemplary fit and finish – a feature that gives Cobra Sport an advantage over other manufacturers.
