"Deep, bright ruby-black, slightly lighter on edge. The nose is fragrantly aromatic, red florals, fragrant raspberries, balsamic-marinated-cherries melded with fresh herbs, delicate spices, underlying earthy element. Medium-bodied, a concentrated core of fruit of sweet cherries, sun-dried red plums along with fragrant florals building-up on the palate, unveiling delicate spices, herbs and earthy underlay. The palate is harmonious, concentrated fruit detail and florals hauling complexing subtleties of thyme, lemon myrtle, cinnamon, nutmeg across the palate. Fine-grained tannin extraction is silky and seamless, integrated with the fruit, provides a comforting, elegant texture line, lingers to a linear, sustained finish. Acidity brings lightness to the palate, lacy and well-balanced, gives the wine lifting support. This is a harmonious Pinot Noir with complexing flavours of concentrated fruit, florals and herbs, on a seamless, silky tannin texture line. Match with venison loin and ribs over the next 8-10 years. 100% Pinot Noir, Clone 5 & 6, from Gibbston region. 13.5% alc. Aged in French oak for 14 months, 75% new" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, Aug 2020

Dark and concentrated, the Eight Barrels displays notes of bramble fruit, truffle and cedar char, with lifted florals on the nose, and seamless texture to the palate. With a fine balance of ripe tannin, natural acidity and lively fruit, this wine truly represents the Gibbston sub-region and its complex nature. Expect to see this youthful wine transform and evolve over a decade or more; please be aware a fine deposit may occur as a result of the minimal handling philosophy.

Rockburn Eight Barrels; the name says it all really. Every year, Rockburn fill hundreds of French oak barrels with Pinot Noir, and every year the winemaker searches for those individual barrels that most eloquently speak of site and season. Rockburn present the results of that search to you here with a wine that exhibits the attributes the winemaker enjoys most about Pinot Noir; subtlety, elegance and personality.

Fermentation over seven days with daily plunging followed by post fermentation maceration for ten days. Barrel aging occured in French oak (75% new) for 14 months. Made by winemaker Malcolm Rees-Francis.

The 2019 Eight Barrels Gibbston Vineyard Pinot Noir is a single vineyard wine displaying the elegance, power and grace generated by the Gibbston Back Road Vineyard site.

Cute Omegaverse story
Format: Kindle
3.75 stars and 2 for spice. Adorable Omegaverse story about a wedding planner who has to go to a small town to plan a wedding for a movie star. While there, she meets her pack. This covers her struggles of not living there but trying to keep her relationship going with her 3 Alphas. It's a quick read and cute, so I recommend it for people who like light-hearted RH stories.

real good
Format: Kindle
This was a solid read for the ABO universe. The characters are great. The smut scenes were well written. And the town is so cute I want to go there. It didn’t have much character development it just felt like I was getting to the characters as they were getting to know each other.

So sweet
Format: Kindle
It’s so unexpectedly sweet that it sneaks up on you. Each character is so unique and charming. I love the openness and honesty among their pack. It really blows me away how wonderful this omegaverse trope plays out. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Needs editing
Format: Kindle
Cute storyline and promising characters, but the lack of editing is painful to read. I would love to read an edited version.

A good read
Format: Kindle
A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.
