Historically the volcanic island Zabargad (St. John) in the Red Sea, east of Egypt, was the most important deposit exploited for 3500 years. Folk and stone lore rumor that Peridot may attract love and calm anger, while also soothing nerves and dispelling negative emotions.

What a great watch! There are so many choices out there (even when you filter out a large portion of those you are clearly not interested in :-). Know what you like, use discipline with your cash, be logical, but then even after all that, you will eventually just have to let the right brain kick in and choose based on creativity and intuition. I needed a watch, and wanted a decent one, that looked good. This does all of that in style.
It's not too big, its fairly waterproof, easy to read with clean lines. I wanted lume...
The textured face has an interesting effect, like looking out a window at late dusk.
Don't buy too many things, but when you do be wise. Even the Dalai Lama likes good watches.
